Really loved the unboxing of the fleece. Your little one made it so fun to watch. There is nothing better than seeing the wonder and surprise in a little one’s eyes! So sweet! That is a great deal of usable fleece at a good price. Love the mittens and the neck warmers! Thank you for sharing!😊❤️
I loved seeing your assistant at work with you. It brings back memories when my son was that age, and that sweet and adorable. I've never sewn fleece. It looks fun.
I imagine that adorable little fellow is your grandson or your son? How I remember the fun I used to have with mine. They are all grown up now, even have one that is expecting a daughter…..so I am looking at being a great grandmother…..
Thanks! The amount of times my kids call things ‘indigo’ amazes me - not a color I ever think about….they know it from all the rainbow songs of course but I guess I forgot them all until they came along 😂
I'm going to make some of the mittens for my grandkids and fingerless mitts for myself. You can braid 3 long strips (roughly 2 inches wide) together and make pet toys. My puppy loves it to play tug.
Fab! Glad you are going to try some of these. I’ve seen those dog toys - pity I don’t have any friends with dogs to give them too! I need to find something I can make for my cats - but they probably don’t need me to sew anything, they’d just be happy if I let them sit in the box 😂
Aww - that is so cute. I’m sure he’d love to be friends - he’s almost 5 now 🤯 (how did that happen!). That remnant box was awesome- I may buy another one but I have so many other projects on the go just now!
I like to make fleece hats. I add an extra 4-6" to the height. Cut 1/2" strips at one end, sew tube, gather strips to form the pompom or ponytail depending on length added. Tie with scrap fleece of same or different pattern.
OMGness, I have been busy playing with my Moxie and I haven't been around. I've so missed your videos. I'm loving this video cause I have a bunch of leftover fleece that I need to use. Have you tried quilting with fleece on your Moxie yet? Your helper is super cute!
I have used it on the Moxie actually. As backing fabric. I did have issues but I think it was because I was using a ridiculously thick batting (like made for upholstery and not quilting). I will have a video soon about that quilt - it’s a panel quilt that caused me more hassle than I thought it would but turned out well in the end! Hope you are enjoying your Moxie!
It’s for those of us addicted to our phones 😂 Can’t be faffing with taking mittens off an on every time I want to check something 😂. Enjoy your mittens and your warm fingers!
Hi - you’ll need to search fabric stores near you I think. Shipping wouldn’t make it worth it to get it from the same place I did. Google something like ‘fleece remnants ‘ or ‘fleece scraps’ or ‘fleece offcuts’. If you have Etsy that might be a good place to try too! Good luck!
What would you make with all this fleece?
This was so much fun...your son is sooo cute. I set here with a big smile on my face the whole time.
Aw fab! I’m going to put out a little bonus video with him later in the week - making a little toy he requested we make from the fleece.
@@ScrapFabricLove I will watch for it...always love your videos cause you/your videos are so real.
Thanks! If you like real you’ll love the mess in the background of my next video 😂!
Your son is so cute.
Thanks!
Your little guy started my day off with a smile, sew much fun to watch.
Aw thanks!
What a very helpful Personal Assistant. His vocabulary is of a high standard, I think.
Great little projects in this video. Thanks.
Yes he is my little sidekick now that we are home together with his brother at school! Very helpful!

I loved seeing your assistant at work with you. It brings back memories when my son was that age, and that sweet and adorable. I've never sewn fleece. It looks fun.
Thanks! Sewing with fleece is easier than I thought it would be before I tried it! Definitely makes for some quick makes.

He really knew his colors well!! That was an awesome box. Love the neck warmers.
Yes I knew it was 5kg but I was still surprised with how much was in it when it came!!
Great video. Thanks for sharing your little guy with us! I also have two sons. They bring so much joy to our lives.
They definitely do. I am determined to make at least one of them into a quilter 😂

Thanks! Yes he loved unboxing all of that - it was a fun day.
Adorable handsome hero assistant!!! I loved all the projects I would like some simple projects to make Jean purses or Jean aprons. TFS 🐞🥰
Thanks! Glad you liked it!
Such a fun video with your adorable assistant! Some of those longer strips of fleece would make great infinity scarves.
Yes for sure! Good idea! Always prefer them to a regular scarf…lose them less 😂
Love these ideas! Warm cozy fleece is great at this time of year.
Thanks! Yes super warm!
That gold piece would make a lovely shawl!

😂😂😂 make a catnip pillow!
Could definitely do that!
Try making fleece slippers, I have made many super easy , using a non slip bottom, make great gifts. Just a idea for another project! Lou
Cool - I might try that! Thanks!

My 3yo is smitten, she wants to be friends. I love the fleece, i would never have considered buying fleece remnants. I will look out for it now.

Does fleece need to be prewashed?
I don’t pre wash any fabrics and never have with fleece either.
Oh! How I would love a cut out of the little fox…..I have a project for a little fox applique….
That fabric went in some scarves for a local charity- if I had any left I would have happily sent you one! Sorry it’s already used 😢
My finger tips are the part that get cold, so I don't understand fingerless gloves. I think I'd make mittens for me instead. ))
It’s for those of us addicted to our phones 😂 Can’t be faffing with taking mittens off an on every time I want to check something 😂. Enjoy your mittens and your warm fingers!
How can I get a box of fleece please I am in Australia
