I’d love to see the sunflower turtle with the original sunflower colours and the dark green that you used for the shell on the new colour order for the body! I think it’d look a lot like a real sunflowers colour palette with the thick dark green stalks! ❤

I live in Houston. I remember those storms when you were traveling. It was intense. Houston has two major airports so not sure if you were at Bush or Hobby. I live closer to Bush and we got some serious rain around that time. Glad you're home safe and do update us on your lost luggage. No way could i decide between the turtles. I love the jumbo turtle for the hugging factor but the mimi is just so dang cute! If i had to choose i would go with the jumbo because hugs are important 🙂
haha oh my gosh, so for my replacement flight, I ended up flying out of Hobby!! Bush shut down all flights that day, crazy!! Thank you so much ❤ Yes, the hugging is such a big factor!! I love jumbos for that reason too :)

For a thicker metal yarn needle, I got some at Joann’s and Walmart for pretty cheap. Your work is super cute. I like both sizes of the turtles. People will have different preferences.

I have a really good sewing needle set that I got from Walmart! They come in a pack of like two big ones and two small ones or something like that, but I always only use the big ones because they actually work with just about any type of yarn

I had a worst situation I moved abroad and they lost the bag with everything, my clothes, my materials… so it was really stressful being without anyone from my family in a new place without my belongings. The worst week and a half of my life. By the way I love your videos☺

When I was flying to Italy flight was delayed four hours, but haft of the passengers were already on and we waited another two hours just in the plane to go so we miss our train and we couldn’t find the place we were staying at
the mini came out absolutely precious!!! thank you for the top for stabilizing the head - I've only made two plushies so far but sewing parts together was the worst part for me, I'm so bad at it hahaha
also, that travel story sounds like a nightmare! I hope they're easier from here on out and that your luggage turns up really soon!

My mom had a delta flight at 7am from South Carolina to Detroit. EST home roughly by 9am right sounds easy. Had to be there early she was. She got home at 11AM THE NEXT DAY. It was the only flight to Detroit so she couldn't switch. It was a full day of its been rescheduled for 2 hours, 3 hours to you'll get there when you get there.
Hey Gemma, I actually had a flight from Tokyo Haneda to London Gatwick, and this was at the time that the crash happened at Haneda airport. Because of this, we were on a shorter runway which meant that we couldn’t take off on it with all the fuel, so we had to divert to Narita airport. When we arrived we were an hour late starting the fuelling process, and we weren’t allowed to leave the plane. In the end, it took about four hours to fuel the plane fully, and by the end of the flight we had been on that flight 18 hours, and the air was so stale I felt sick for the last 5 hours of my flight. And then we had to drive four hours to get home 😭

Sometimes you can connect your camera to a laptop or tablet and use it as a monitor to see it bigger and check it’s in focus and the framing. I hear ppl do that. You should check it out and see if you can xx

long story short. there were only two times i missed my flight because it was the 1st and 3rd time i ever flew and they were both solo dolo. i sat either at the gate or across from the gate at a computer area to charge and both times i didn't hear the announcement that the gate was changed. and both times by the time i realized and ran to the new gate, both times i was upgraded for free. once was to first class and the other was to business class. i was so heated. i missed out on such a great opportunity. it always takes me two times to learn a lesson so that never happened a third time. i now check my gate announcements like every 10 mins like a maniac.

Ik i'm a year late but i love how you said all of the colours of the yarns because there's probably colour blind people watching your videos and that would be so helpful!! (i'm not colour blind btw)
I had one of those insane travel. Long story short i thought i missed my connecting flight because of a plane needing cleaning and bad weather when i arrived for my connecting flight itwas delayed. I had to move flight gates, while trying to update my brother on my new flight time. My phone was dying, my roaming wasn't connecting and my flight kept delaying every half hour. I was suppose to reach my destination at 7 pm, i reach after 11pm.
oh my gosh, what a nightmare! ugh, traveling is seriously the worst sometimes! glad you made it to your destination the same day (barely lol ) ❤
@CrochetByGenna Yep, another time I missed my connecting flight due to the Christmas season and had to room with 4 other females from the same flight because apparently I didn't qualify for hotel room, when my flight was the next day at noon. We were all friends for that brief moment. Still, traveling is the worst

Thanks so much!! And it takes 2 skeins for the body, 1 skein for the shell, and around 1/4 skein for the petals :)

Hi! I love your videos and find them a huge inspiration! I use sweet snuggles a lot and lately have been having looking for yarn replacements for some of the colors that are hard to find in my area would you mind telling me what the sweet snuggle color was that seaglass replaced so perfectly?
