You can hear the heartbreak in his voice talking about the financial focus of the TASM franchise, he really gave his all to that character and it shows. Phenomenal actor I am going to continue following his career with genuine fervour. He is my Spider-Man :).
im a disabled woman and i love film to distract myself in. i recently went to the academy nicholls where one of the recipients had parents who were doctors and she felt inadequate because she was 'just' a screenwriter. they told her a beautiful thing-'we save lives, you make them worth living'. so, andrew, your brother may save lives, but you make them worth living.

This is an amazing interview and I'm so happy to watched it. I'm a film critic and writer, and in 2014, I interviewed Andrew Garfield when he came to Singapore to promote The Amazing Spider-Man 2. Typically with press junkets, actors can be tired and jetlagged and it's understandable - nobody wants to sit there being asked the same questions for hours on end. Interviewing Andrew was one of the best experiences of my career. He was thoughtful, insightful, engaging without being over-enthusiastic in a phony way, and seemed genuinely interested in hearing what I had to ask and in answering those questions. I would love for every interview to be just like that and hope to be able to meet him again.

Lately, Holland has been sparking interest in the idea, and the idea of a Spider-Man 4 (From the Sam Raimi Trilogy) has also caused a bit of talks around the internet. While it is unlikely, it is however possible that Andrew could potentially return as Spider-Man in the film alongside Tobey & Tom. I loved his portrayal of Spider-Man and think the film was way more akin to what i know and love from Spider-Man, and what makes Spider-Man, Spider-Man. Homecoming felt like Spider-Man lite to me. Everything felt uninspired and dumbed down for mainstream audiences and it felt like a safe approach at a Spider-Man film...So, fingers crossed on that live action Spider-Verse.

Sony ruined it and somehow andrew and marc get the hate. Andrew isn' t proud cos that wasn't what he signed up for. That series was going to go indepth into the emotional traumas peter would have to face and were very emotional takes and I loved that! Sadly things didn't turn out well. now let's see if they do full on spiderverse

what a great interview, it just took you through his whole life in an hour, i've been watching his interview since the morning and they are always so thoughtful and you instantly know how much of an artistic person he is, i wish he gets to do some great movies in the future and many more oscar nominations and eventually win them too, i would also like to see him in commercially successful movies too because the world needs to know him beyond the guy who played spiderman and a few good movies .

The eloquence and articulation of his expression is a testatement to his humbly wrapped intelligence. There 's just something about the easy demeanor in which talks in that draws your complete attention to hear what he says on the most complex of topics.

Andrew Garfield was to Spider-Man what Brandon Routh was to Superman. They were both accurate and underrated versions of the character who deserved another chance and better material. Garfield was sandwiched in between fan favorites like Maguire and Holland, and Routh was sandwiched in between fan favorites like Reeves and Cavill. But that doesn’t mean they were bad, it just means they weren’t utilized to their full potential because they could’ve been as popular as them!
Also both of them were held back by a bad script. Especially TASM2. As a fellow actor it really saddens when great actors are held back by a bad script. And especially when they get some blowback for it. Garfield gave such an amazing performance and I'm glad he reprised the role in No Way Home. The whole cast was very amazing and managed to do what their characters were supposed to be truly but especially Garfield, McGuire and Defoe.
That's so funny. Joe vs. the Volcano is a family fave in our home too haha Kind of embarrassing to admit, but I love all the silly roles Meg Ryan plays. It's such a dorky, fun movie.
