I feel the same way about this as I do about people saying he goes to loser's bracket on purpose. Like on the one level I kind of see the rationale and why people think it might be beneficial but on another level it's just so hard for me to see any pro player putting themselves on the precipice of elimination for such an impalpable advantage. Especially if opponents can be ready for it lol. I mean personally I am 100% sure Sonic will sometimes "throw" the first round of a first match in order to download his opponent, but entire games is much harder to see any pro player doing on purpose imo You were probably being facetious and I realize I'm overthinking it in general but I find it to be an interesting thing to overthink about lol
@Zooce Pierce,Rewind did the most difficult, won two battles straight (he killed the tiger) and he was about to win the final battle, but he got scared at the easy part (he got scared with it's skin) and sony took advantage and won.

So I have to imagine at least at times in those 0-2s there's an element of "Lulling into a false sense of momentum" It's the same as like - okay I don't believe SF or any pro player is going to the losers bracket on purpose like so many people seem to think. But I do think Sonic is confident enough in his mental fortitude that he's comfortable with the bracket reset because he is just that confident (with plenty of reason) in his ability to simply mentally outlast his opponent. Which imo we saw vs TM's Cetrion spam (all due respect to TM who is a godlike player as well)

You know the more time that goes by the more I think they did something VERY interesting with this game. I think the IDEA of variations and custom variations is game changing and I’d like to see the idea of that in all fighting games. I’ve always championed the idea of its not what you do but how you do it. I recognize the “Tier” system but I always think that you can make any character work as long as your good. Characters are just tools to express yourself in fighting games. You and your style come through the character and having variations add to that. Good sht..
I literally can't believe how this match went. Rewind had impeccable reads the first 2 matches and dropped the ball completely. Not to take anything away from sonic but rewind needs to practice playing in the clutch more

This battle was very epic very technical and there was a lot of tension but again I'm always going to keep grounded to what I've been saying all along Sonic Fox is undefeated the king of mk11 and no matter how you look at this battle rewind took around with timing so did Fox so no one needs to criticize fox for running the time like rewind did. Tbh, all sonic did was slow the pace down in the match. Johnny's buttons have no chance contesting jokers neutral. Sonic just completely negated rewinds advance the last two matches.
Joker's special Move is just using a knife and a Stick. It legit has a jack in the box that explodes, a body he tosses and extending boxing gloves, mortal Kombat needs to fix that
