There are some mistakes tho. At least that's what I think. Chezame and Sxin also mentioned that in their reaction.
A bit of info for context on the GBB. The GBB is arguably the biggest international beatbox event. To qualify for it, you have to either win one of multiple regional beatbox events, or qualify through submitting a wildcard like these guys did. Unfortunately because of COVID, the GBB this year couldn't be done how they wanted it to, so the winners of these wildcard spots will be performing next year in GBB2021.
So there won’t be an online event for gbb 2020 this time? I saw pepouni‘a video where he said there would be a live event without an audience

That was cancelled. Said so on sbx insta. Gbb 2021 is happening in October 2021 with a new wildcard comp in April. The old entrants will also be reinvited.
BBBWC is the biggest beatbox event because it's a triennial competition.
For Audical, he's using an inhale technique: if you have the good throat position you can do deeper sounds by inhaling, and if you practise a lot you can do some insane sounds

It is in order by top pick! 1 was the most “perfect” wildcard and so on. Keep in mind there were WELL over 200 wildcards submitted and these were the best. Also, a lot beatboxers practice with a metronome to work on timing!! So you were right. Great reaction lads! 🔥
Yep the judges take notes of how well they can keep up with the tempo and to be as good as they are, they have to take every advantage they can to develop their skills.

Wawad (#2) and MB14 are both in Berywam. (Actually MB14 *was* in Berywam, but he was still a part of Berywam in the videos you've watched). Napom is a part of the Beatbox House, and when his wildcard ended and the camera panned to his friends laughing, those guys are also in the Beatbox House.

"Do any beatboxers practice to a metronome?" -
Lots of beatboxers do. But, Alem is the one who is most well known for it. Check him out he is a drumming style beatboxer.
"Are there any new sounds brought 'to the table' by beatboxers" -
Yes, funnily enough Two-H, the one which you watched just before saying that, brought that sound to the beatbox scene and developed it to a crazy extent.
Napom, the guy who 'smashed it', actually invented the "sub-bass liproll" it's a very low hitting liproll and it DESTROYS sound systems xD
Obviously, there are loads more unique sounds. Like I have one and I've been beatboxing for 8 months. It's mainly just fiddling around with mouth positioning xD
"Is there enough money to have a job in beatboxing"
Right this is a tough one. Simple answer, and the one relevant to most beatboxers, NO. There tends to always be a main source of income then beatboxing. However, as time has gone on there has been more money put into the 'beatbox economy'. So, it is possible, but it is kind of restricted for the HIGHLY skilled (like the GBB contestants).

@@jsphvn4213 Ball Zee's is slightly different to napoms. Napoms hollows his throat out and basically does a silent inward bass. Idk how to describe it. Whereas, to my knowledge, ball-zee just uses a very loose liproll, probably with a hollowed out throat. Idk. Slight differences

just one thing: beatbox community is so nice, when someone has sth original they normaly share and explain how to do it. I am very new in beatboxing, but from what I can tell everyone just wants to push limits in every direction possible. there is just competition on stage and even there everyone gives credit to the oponend

this was the top 10 chosen wildcards chosen and evaluated by people at swissbeatbox for invitations to the gbb of 2020 (which didnt happen) the first one being the best and last being 10th best. there are around 16 participants for solo beatbox in the actual gbb tournament, 10 being from wildcard entries and others being from seperate competition winners and 2nd and 3rd place from the previous year of gbb. just a lil info for you, great reaction as always
Beatbox varies uniquely so much in styles and that's the reason I fell in love with beatbox

Indeed everyone went crazy because he did in ent the noise and everyone has been trying to learn it ever since he did the noise during a battle. Lots of beatboxers still haven't mastered it

The Judges are World Champions themselves so you can see how they are able to judge. There are different categories the judges base the beatboxing on. Technicality (The techniques they use such as the kicks, types of basses etc..). Musicality (how the beat flows and catchiness i didn't explain that well but something like that) , Structure (The structure of the beats such as the placements of certain sounds and overall music theory structure such as build up, drop and how it is put together), Performance (says in itself, how they perform the beat either on stage or online such as using diss lines or gestures that is connected to the beat or individual, thay also use this to judge they atmosphere the beatboxer creates with his beats.) and Cleanliness (How clean the sounds they put out are, the cleaner the more crisp it is to the ear) These categories are all connected to each other. I've watched far more of the 2019 battles than the 2020 ones as the reaction of the crowd really adds to the whole experience.
If you liked the whistle sounds from Colaps (the third one), I'd highly suggest watching Dkoy's 2020 wildcard, his whole theme is whistles and bird-sounds. It's really weird but it sounds great.

21:20 you mentioned metronome. Yeah metronome in beatboxing is usual and it helps to move in a particular tempo or flow. Various drum patterns are practised by beatboxers through variable bpm. You can also consider flow of every beatboxer is based on metronome

This is the entry video to get in the competition, it's like who got to the group stage of the champions league. Then, they get on stage and do a showcase, an individual live performance on which the judges choose just 8 out of them. And then is full champions league knock out beatbox battle between them to get to the Grand Beatbox Battle (GBB) champion

Wildcard are were people send their videos to swissbeatbox to be able to enter in the gbb, they are selected and will go live on stage.... but this year because of the covid you will not be able to see them live or see a winner it has been cancelled.
Yes they can live from it, workshop and they are invited so paid in some events. In swissbeatbox there is some podcast were they interview profesionnal beatboxer and they talk about it.
They are the winners of the chance to enter to the competition

I imagine helium doesnt need a metronome because he goes as fast as he can the whole time and his limit dosnt change over the course of the routine.
Also BBK isn't actually the president of swissbeatbox. The CEO of swissbeatbox is a guy named Pepouni, you may hear people mentioning his name in future beatboxing videos. BBK being the beatbox president is really just a meme cus everyone loves the guy.

Beatboxers use metronomes, there are some metronomes that can felt through vibrations.

21:13 that's definitely a good point and I'm glad you noticed....helium was definitely the one that was perfect with his tempo and others weren't on point. It's really difficult with certain sounds and that's where they get a bit out of time.

The main criterion for a wildcard is if the prestation is new or not
For Audical, it is a very famous routine from him, he is known because of that, and that's why he wasn't first.

The last guy (napom) is a legend in beat boxing but a lot of beat boxers hated his wild card and thinks he shouldn't have even qualified. Its funny that it was one of ur favourite.
That whistle what the beat boxer done is a called a ralik whistle. I recommend reacting to heartzel bounce with x kau ingat kau gempak because he make that whistle sound louder and better. He is also a very good beat boxer. He can do a sound that a lot of beatboxers can’t do which sounds electric and it’s sick👍

These videos are like auditions for the live event. These happened before the live event was cancelled. I know you liked Napom, but he was 10th because although he had some very powerful sounds, it was freestyled and so was unclean so wasn't as good technically
You should check out Orbit Culture. I suggest Open Eye or Nensha. Nensha is trilogy of songs, all three have videos and tell a story. Nensha, Rebirth, and The Shadowing. The band is so talented, and have inspirations of some of the greatest bands out there.

This are wildcards, there are a lot out there but basically these are made so the judges can choos which guys make it to the battles(GBB) in 2020, all of those will be competing in the GBB of 2021 because of this covid-19 stuff, if you guys wonder how some of them are not 1st or some are better than others everyone have their opinion or wath they like more. Also the judges are probably all beatboxers of high level and that have trained for a lot of years so they observe every single detail to see which routine is the best and more complete with everything, its not all about having all of the noises in the world🤷🏾♂️
You should react to the beatbox video from Enel on the Beatbox International channel, it's one of those sounds that everyone freaked out about
