hi! just a random question. how long do u think the macbook pro would last for your usee? planning to buy one but i cant decide if i shud just choose a gaming laptop instead
hiii it def depends on what you’re using it for! you also need to consider whether you need applications that are only for mac/windows for your schoolwork or work in general! for me, i really can’t say, but since i do a lot of heavy work like video editing, photoshop, etc. on top of daily uni work and browsing, i wouldn’t expect a laptop to last more than 5 years with me without having any lagginess or crashes. what i do to mitigate this is use external storage when i can, a second monitor to preserve my laptop screen, and also practice good battery habits. a lot of people will tell you to get a gaming laptop especially if you like to game as well XD but personally, i just love the quality and experience macs give. very smooth and pretty i guess HAHAH also a macbook my dad has owned since the 2010s still works, and is just laggy because we updated it 😅
