8Bit Music Theory analyzing this song sent me here to listen without his commentary. Honestly sounds like a prelude to a fairwell. Tomorrow we'll go our separate ways so today let's just be present.
@@BedrockSolidI love it too! I played it a lot as a kid even if I didn't understand how the card game worked, but it reminds me of sitting with my family, and just being happy to get another booster pack. :)
this soundtrack is really incredible man. Such a wide range of vibes: chill waltzes, heroic marches, and jazzy bits like this one to snap your fingers to. Better than any of the main series soundtracks if you ask me, and I love a lot of those as well.
it was always in stereo, but the gameboy only had one speaker. You can get the stereo by either plugging in headphones, or taking the raw rom files and extracting it, which is what I think he did here.
I love both songs and they are important to my childhood but I have never considered them similar at all, LOL..I guess they both have a triplet rhythm and a similar tempo.

I love how bittersweet it sounds, for some reason it's emotional to me and maybe my favorite song in the soundtrack.

I'm 37 and find myself whistling this randomly even though I haven't actively tried to listen to it for 25 years so let's change that
because the music is just so god damn good for a gameboy game
34 and will never stop adoring gbc music. Lufia 3 has some of the best I’ve ever heard.
33 and chiptune but expecially gameboy is something that resonates inside me
I am filled with childlike whimsy and wonder
3 sound channels.
We are here because of the same reason lol
8 bit music theory's video showed how creative the composers had to be to squeeze this ost into 3 channels
4 channels:
2x Square wave
Wave (4-bit sample)
Noise
Modern music artists: "I can't get these 200 tracks to line up just right, man. Scrap it."
@@Nindo10Man10 not PCM, Gameboy had a voluntary wave channel
Such a bop
I love these stereo versions, amazing!
My happy place. Good places to stock up on cards against Water decks, too, as a Fire player.
This bops so damn hard and beautifully on the gameboy sounds
probably this is one of my favorite 8 bit song from pokemon
Sounds amazing!

love it
Great mix!
This song has no business being in a GAME BOY game.
Sad that this game still lacks guitar tab music after all these years but these simple yet beautiful melodies are easy to pick up by ear
THIS IS THE BEST SONG IN THE SOUNDTRACK AND ANYONE WHO SAYS OTHERWISE IS WRONG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! /J
So was it originally in mono? How did you change it to stereo?

Gwen Stefani’s sweet escape vibes

@@BedrockSolidif you put the acapella on this I guarantee it would turn you sideways 😂😂
More like "I'm just a gigolo/I ain't got nobody" vibes
Im so glad someone else on this earth made that connection 😂
i thought of enormous penis by da vinci's notebook, dunno about you
