ISHDJWHDHSH its honestly so rare to see like- actual good quality content that makes you FEEL something (that was a bad way to describe it but yeah). Dont get me wrong theres a lot of great content creators out there, but this was so close to making me genuinely cry. The story and plot is amazing and the two songs fit so well together.... The editing is fire as well

When I first found Vocaloid, this was one of the first songs I heard. I only ever listened to the melody, not the lyrics. Now that I'm older, I took the time to watch it again, this time I listened to the lyrics and it broke me. He gave his life for his sister. They both deserve better.
Wonderful editing by the way, I'd never be able to pull off this amount of dedication in one video, it would be the end of me.
Ok so you may have went down to see itsRandom stuff’s theory about why they didn’t stop it, and now yes I actually approve of that theory, but also it’s for the town people they wanted to see the execution (that’s how you spell it right?) Meiko wanted to stop it, but kaito wanted rin to take a taste of her own medicine, also Len didn’t actually kill michealla (miku) it was actually a girl named neru I believe, but they thought it was rin who did it.
Yeah, close enough. I’ll explain:
Riliane (Rin) was a tyrant Princess, due to being possessed by the demon of Pride. Allen (Len) was her brother who became her servant after he “died”.
Germaine (Meiko) was Allen’s adopted sister and Kyle (Kaito) was Riliane’s fiancé.
Kyle fell in love with Michaela (Miku), and broke off the engagement, even though she didn’t love him back. Riliane got angry and ordered the Green Hunt.
That was the last straw; the people started a rebellion against her.
Allen, unable to let his beloved sister die, took her place. Both Germaine and Kyle figured it out, but Allen had told Kyle that he killed Michaela, even though he didn’t.
Allen told Germaine that he killed their adoptive father, which was true. Angered, Germaine executed him, also as a way to kill the Princess.
Riliane fled the kingdom afterwards, and was saved by Clarith (Haku). She changed her name to Rin, and love her life atoning for her sins.

I'm speechless. This is pure talent, to the story and to the editing. I, honestly, kind of have expected it will be him who'll die, but when I waited for part two I did not expect such an emotional roller coaster. The story saddens me a lot, as much as I cannot understand the servant's mind to be so loyal, I definitely will be looking forward to gaining more knowledge about him, and every character in general.

One, holy crap this is amazing. I love seeing the evillious chronicles and mothy's songs getting some love and people having their own takes on it, it makes me so happy as someone trying to decipher the songs (and failing ;v;)
I'm really happy you used Will Stetson's cover mainly because I prefer his covers over Juby's (sorry!) and I just love the arrangement and lyrics
I also love your take on the story, it's elegant (sad yes, but I've already cried from this song a lot) and the designs amaze me.

I think it's great how some people are finally using vocaloid songs for gacha music videos, the majority of vocaloid songs have very deep stories and concepts
I love the tiny twist that both of the “rebels” knew that it was the brother but still let him be on his sister’s place
In the canon story both of them did know! Allen (the Servant) told both of them. Kyle (the blue King) allowed him to take Riliane’s (the Princess) place since he believed Allen killed Michaela (green girl). Germaine (red knight) didn’t want Allen to go through with it because he was her adoptive brother and tried to convince him to run away with her and a childhood friend.

I loved how this all played into the hand from the twins switching places, to the male twin to die in his lady's place, to the male twin still being there even if he is dead. I absolutely loved the animation as well. OH and the prince using the right pronouns for the male twin when they finally realized that it wasn't the female twin there 😄

@@michaeliskakapo Actually, the reason he let HIM die is because he knew that she depends on her twin more then anything. (And she's also the closest to him.)
So to give her more pain instead of execution, he let him go instead so she could feel the pain he felt, Losing a loved one.
So he made it equal by killing the person she 'loved' most, because that's what she did to him and the girl in green.
