Hi! Minks4all and Caitlin Pawlowski were the two first channels I watched. My first Coach was a bucket patchwork bag about $300. I sported that like it was diamonds. I didn’t start really buying until I started my channel. I’ve felt bad ever since. It’s about 2-3 years. Lol. Great story. TFS❤
Thank you for sharing your story! Minks4all was my first TH-camr into luxury as well! I’m glad she is still making content! You brought up some good points in your story. You mentioned your coworker didn’t bring her coach bag to work because it was too nice. You inspired her to start using it. When you start talking luxury brands at work, that can get tricky. You will be judged. When your husband shared the cost of a luxury bag, that’s special! You shared there is a difference between higher end bags v contemporary bags. As there should be. Thank you for sharing how easy it is to go down the rabbit hole when it all starts with just one item.
Yes, I really no longer discuss my handbags at work. Someone may comment about one and I say thank you and then try to end the conversation there. It was easier back when all I carried was Coach. Now I try to save the conversations for youtube. I think it is another huge reason why this community has become so dear to me.
I enjoyed this story time. ❤ now I want to see the full chanel collection behind you. It's my favorite brand but I buy preloved. Now the shocking part was no stores in Wisconsin for luxury? Like mine? That shocked me the most
Yeah, I am shocked that Milwaukee or Green Bay doesn't have some luxury!! But nope. I buy both pre loved and new, I love a good deal. :-) I will do my Chanel collection in December. :-)
I am so glad he does. I have always been pretty independent about things like that and he kind of knew that about me coming in to it. So, I just really appreciate him allowing me to just be me. :-)
OH vintage jewelry...it is a rabbit hole that so far I have stayed out of....but can see the appeal so much!!! Tiffany is another favorite. I just love the history there as well. I like things that tell a story, like a handbag and jewelry really does as well. 💕💕
Ha!!! You know I think you were the second person I started to watch....I found Minnie and then you. 💕 I saw others but they didn't resonate with me in the same way.....then came Winnie....and the rest. :-) What blessings!!!
Awe, so cool! 🥰…..All of us handbag lovers cherish their story 🥹 My grandma bought me my first designer bag, and I remember the smell of my first LV speedy 25, oh so wonderful. Coach was such great quality and I remember my moms coach and LV catalogues as well, so special. Just luv your bag videos and book videos Jame… also your background with all of your bags is fabulous as well🤗 Can’t wait to see what bag you unbox next😃
Oh your comment about your grandma hit straight to my heart. I loved my mom's mom, my grandma so much. Until I had children I don't think I loved another person as much or as fiercely. I lost her when I was 18. I can't even imagine what a treasure it would have been to receive a handbag from her. :-) Thank you for sharing that. 💕💕
i have to say you made my morning. What I wanted more than anything in life for Christmas 1992 was a Liz Claiborne purse from Marshall Field (I was 14) ... Memories
Hi ya Jame! Your experience on how you got into luxury is pretty close to how I started! You made me think back to a Liz Claiborne bag I got in the early 2000s and then I went into Coach outlet bags after that! Wow amazing how it all starts right?!? Love your Chanel you showed! By today’s standards it’s a bargain! Thank you for sharing this I enjoyed it! Have a wonderful rest of your week! 😊❤
It was so cool to hear about your beginning into luxury buying. Coach was also the brand I collected before stepping into the luxury realm. I'd love to know what other content creators' favorite bag brands were before they bought their first luxury bag. Tag video idea?
Oh that is a really good idea. I think I especially like it because so many people that I have talked to started with Coach...and there are so many other great contemporary bags out there, so it could be really interesting. :-)
Thank you for sharing your story almost sounds like mine except I used to buy Stone Mountain, then my husband bought me a Coach and now here we are… Dior, LV
🎉🎉🎉❤🎉🎉🎉 wonderful journey Jame. You and hubby are just precious together😊😊 my hubby shares my handbag journey with me too and it's so wonderful ❤ Excited to see what bag you unbox next video!🎉
Jame, thank you for sharing your luxury shopping journey. It felt so real and relatable. Your story gave me a new perspective on luxury goods, and I could really feel the emotions behind your purchases. Looking forward to more of your videos!
I love how just talking about your bags makes you so happy! You are thoughtful about what you like and what you add. Oh, you know we will never say never! 😊
Oh I am so glad you enjoyed it. I was hoping some people would find it interesting, I always do, it is funny how it just starts and just keeps going. :-)
I love your story ❤️, how many LV bags do you have? I love luxuries bags, I have a few bags, I started collecting it 16 years ago, I watched your video’s of your LSG , it was very impressive. Thanks

Thanks for sharing your story. It always starts with a wallet, LOL. I love SLGs and bags, too, but SLGS are my poison. You seem lovely! Keep smiling.
You and me both. I just LOVE SLGs. You get a little piece of things you like without the big price. :-)
I enjoyed this story time. ❤ now I want to see the full chanel collection behind you. It's my favorite brand but I buy preloved.

“But we have lots of cheese” honestly we love that. Cheese is the ultimate luxury ❤
Oh, isn't that the truth. :-) Thank you for being here. :-)
So nice to hear how you go into luxury. What’s also nice is Mick supports you 💞
I am so glad he does. I have always been pretty independent about things like that and he kind of knew that about me coming in to it. So, I just really appreciate him allowing me to just be me. :-)
I find this so inspiring. I'm also a Coach girl and have gotten Prada secondhand. My new love is vintage jewelry and Tiffany has my heart!

OH, do I ever understand that!!! Some of those bags were so good. I never realized at the time they took inspiration from the high end companies. :-)
J i love your content and esp the books 📕. I am on The Women right now and loving 🥰 it.
Oh I am so glad. Thank you for being here. Ahhh Kristin Hannah. I haven't tried her yet, I am sure once I do I will want to "read her to zero". :-)
