well in the end they played out that the general was arrested but it isn't the case. only a rank higher than an NCO can perform an arrest against flag officers like captains and majors.
Your actually right about that. he actually could not arrest your character no enlisted member in any of the military branches can arrest a commissioned officer such as a 4 star. Now if the SP had said he was a Lt, Capt. or Major it would be a whole different story those ranks being officers could arrest a 4 star General
and the cops bought the bullshit lmao. a staff sergeant made an arrest of a general is considered to be bullshit.
they are NOT ALLOWED to even interfere with military operations because it would be deemed as a national security threat already by simply telling a literal army officer and its flag officer while IN UNIFORM to settle down and lay down arms. now what can a 4 star general do at this matter? arresting a 4 star general while in uniform can also be considered as a national threat because that is literally kidnapping even if he was deemed as corrupt. corruption plays a major role but with no proof, it's nullified because of immunity law.
he have the rights to establish full military power upon the threats, cops or not. because they are obstructing the US military by simply doing that and arrested the general himself.

Thats actually not true. As former Security Forces enlisted I could arrest an officer. Its a courtesy to have a Security Forces officer present but not necessary. Rank doesn't trump the authority given to MPs.
@@kevinrussell7562 Guess the USAF is the odd one out then because in every other branch a MP can detain a officer but cant actually take them into custody. I started out as a MA and reached MA2 before finishing my college degree and there were a few times where I nailed officers for offenses like DUI and had to call in for at least a ensign to show up and tell the offending officer they were under arrest

Bruh, if a taser is the cause of someone's death, the person who shot the guy with the taser is responsible.
True but doesn't mean they'll be charged, if a suspect is resisting an has medical issues (such as a heart problem) unknown to the officers and the suspect passes. The officers will not be charged nor should they be. I know because my uncle is a cop an was involved in this exact situation, tazed a man and he passed away the state did an investigation everyone was cleared of any wrong doing
@@youknow2849 well against an active on-duty military personnel together with a flag officer? that is a national security threat if they do that. the military would have its rights to perform a bombardment if that's the case because when they did imprison a flag officer, that's also considered as a national threat because it'll be deemed as a kidnapping, therefore the entire county would be at major risk.
@@blengdiabloed7335 Yes and no, It wouldn't really be worth the operational costs and the war crimes that would generate, both giving the Air Force as an organization a bad public reputation and many legal problems on both sides making a single isolated incident balloon much bigger than it would ever need to be.
Theoretically, the proper way of doing it was actually pretty well demonstrated in this video, local police would detain the offending officer where they would most likely be transferred to the custody of Military Police, in this case, Air Force Security Forces, where the offending officer will be processed and put up for a Courts Martial, in this case, it would probably be a General Court-Martial but I'm no expert in law.
Also in the situation of the Msgt who was tased, the officer who fired the taser would most likely be held responsible as the Msgt's death was not related to a health problem, but most of the taser case would be based on entirely circumstantial evidence so It's hard to say whether the officer responsible would be prosecuted IRL but it is definitely enough to launch an internal investigation on the officer, the military police would probably be involved in the investigation as well.
Progamerdude I was genuinely impressed with how accurate some of the stuff in the video was even down to how close the uniforms Y'all had on where the Tigerstripe camo the General had on is still my favorite design and is sadly being phased out of the airforce in favor for the multicam.
To the one LEO who asked arent Generals usually 5 stars, Generals range from 1 to 4 stars with the rare exception of a 5 star general who usually wont be promoted to 5 stars unless its during a time of war. The last Five star general the U.S. Air Force had was General of the Air Force Henry H. Arnold also known as Hap Arnold who passed away on January 15th of 1950.

well yeah, nobody would actually mess with a general because they are in control of fields commission, meaning they answer directly to the senate and the representatives. if a general makes a mistake, a leeway is offered but scandal can be brought. what they can do is have him honorably discharged but that's definitely not gonna happen.
PS: only a commissioned officer like captains and majors can perform an arrest under the house of representatives under the secretaries of the board.
