    This details concrete longevity but please let us know what you have discovered about your own countertops. Are they still dent and stain free after years of use? Please comment below to let us know.

    I’m sold! Was feeling super apprehensive about doing this. Not to much anymore. Thank you for speaking my analytical language. You’re a great teacher.

    Great detailed pro and con review but I really am interested in how they look and I think that’s missing from this review.

    Hello, what sealer did you use? I started with my bathroom countertop. But the sealer we used still stained. So we had to paint the countertop. I still want to do the kitchen but worried about the stains etc. Thank you so much.

      No- I’ve not noticed that dishes or glasses break more on concrete countertops. We’ve enjoyed them.

    Love your very honest Pros n cons video!”
    You are right about the cost of concrete vs granite countertops.... a huge savings in designing and building your own concrete tops.
    I was so excited to get to see you and “left-brain’s finished DIY during the Christmas tour. It looks sooo nice!
    After much research, during our total kitchen remodel, I chose a gorgeous granite. It is a huge investment for sure.
    If I had a ‘do-over’ I would choose a more solid color...the finished product is a little “too busy” for me, but I love my kitchen remodel as a whole.
    Thanks for what you do...I always enjoy watching your DIY videos and clips.
    Please keep um coming #PinkToolGirl! 👍👏👍

    Thank u. Question. Does it get oily stains?

    • @Pinktoolgirl
      @Pinktoolgirl  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi Anita. No- it does not get oily stains. We sealed the concrete and have enjoyed a stain free countertop for over three years.

    Yuo can avoid the crack around thin areas like sink by using rods, stainless steel, so they dont rust. This helps reduce cracking.

    Do you have to use fiber in your countertops?

    • @Pinktoolgirl
      @Pinktoolgirl  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      We recommend that you add fibers to make it stronger. Our product came from ConcreteCountertopSolutions.com. We highly recommend them.

    How about sitting hot/warm pans on top of them

    • @Pinktoolgirl
      @Pinktoolgirl  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Admittedly, I don't recommend doing it to any countertop. The time and money spent makes me grab a hot pad to protect the surface.
