Thank you, brother man, this video gave the best information that I have come across in over 3 years that I have been following the trend of goat farming in Africa. You are so generous with the truth around farming as a business. Kudos for your honesty. I will, therefore subscribe to your channel now.
Project is a series of activities which has starting and finishing time(time frame) There advantages of inbreeding. Like what you are saying you can keep that buck and service it kids once or twice they will come true type. Most people they want to start big however it's good when you have the ready market. In most cases if you have passion for farming and have the resources you can experiment using different breeds to cross this helps to improve the quality of animals that you are kept on the farm. It's difficult for a lay person to understand farming as a business however it takes passion to reach the climax. You don't have to worry about the market. Just keep them multiplying. One day when you reach high number you will thank yourself.
True starting small helps because when you make mistakes you can easily correct when it big and you make mistake its very costly and you never get up again
Thanks Obed for the insights into goat farming. Is it possible to have your contact please I have been in the goats business for now 3 years; started with 5 local goats and now have over 200 crosses of boers and savana goats

Thanks Obed farm. I could relate with you you illustrated the 'quail farming' craze that also hit us here in Nairobi...way back in 2011.

Correct so many poor farmers lost money producing a product that does not have a market. In my view just focus first on what sells in your market.

Good advice but instead of buying a a male boer for starters it’s better to consider artificial insemination of pure boer to our local females
You need the equipment and the know-how to do AI.
