I'm dealing with plantar fasciitis and was told to get Brooks shoes. Which shoe would you recommend for a walker no running.

Hi - thanks for your question. When it comes to plantar fasciitis, there’s unlikely to be a best brand or model. For example, some podiatrists will recommend opting for shoes that have a prominent rocker. Whereas some might suggest choosing a model with a significant heel-to-toe drop. The best options will depend on the exact pathology of your plantar fasciitis.
With that being said, if you’ve been recommended Brooks, the Ghost Max are likely to be very good options. They’re well-cushioned and have a rocker - which should help alleviate some stress on your plantar fascia. They also have a broad base and feature a straight last upper design. Ensuring feet have ample space to splay and aren’t squeezed by overly tight fitting shoes can also be very beneficial for plantar fasciitis. Hope this helps.
