The way Cassie acts with Roxy is what Henry would have wanted for Fazbears, the children absolutely adoring the robots and being happy and then the robots taking care of the children and happy to do so, if that was the whole story it would be the best and would have make him proud, unfortunately it's not the hole story. How Roxanne acts confirms it for me, that the robots even with their flaws we're meant to be amazing for the children, true friends. "I remember because you were number one... twice" she always associated number one with being the most important part to her, the fact that she associated Cassie with that shows how much she truly cared. This scene shows that she wasn't that scared and sad monster but at her core she was good and caring but scarred. From Glitchtrap, her own self-worth to even what Gregory did, it all damaged her and it is what was causing her to lash out. Poor Roxy.💔🐺 I think I speak for many including those who we just saw from the video, I hope we get to see you again and be your friend for the story after Ruin and that it wasn't the Mimic at the end talking.
Honestly even with what Greggory had to do to Roxy, Chica and Monty, in the beginning he openly stated the "others" were acting weird so I think it was Vanny or Springtrap effecting them, making them hostile. Besides, he also gets sad and scared when things happen to Freddy

She was able to see Vanny,she could she through the walls and we can't see the moment when she was "switched". She was the most awared animatronic in security breach. She even had mental breakdown

Roxanne likely had the strongest resistance since she had more interactions with kids and could remember the memories with Cassie. But why would she be so dead set on going after Gregory before he took her eyes?

There is a lot of ruined animatronics but Roxanne was the biggest danger to the mimic. We are not sure if Gregory really betrayed Cassie or it was the mimic. Although, Vanny mask does not make someone a killing machine, it seems was created to keep security nods,so even if Vanny mask took control over her, she went only against Gregory. Too many facts against Gregory, while Roxanne considered to be the most aware animatronic who knew everything
This scene really hits the mark on my theory that all the negative character traits the animatronics have are exaggerated by Glitchtrap and Vanny interfering. Roxy definitely has image issues, but the hacking nonsense made her an asshole. This is who she is. Capable of being zealous and wild, but just as capable of tenderness. Because that's what you'd need in all your robots, a base personality to attract what the others don't but the ability to soften and cater to the shy kids. It just makes sense programming wise too.
If you think this is heartbreaking to see from just Cassie's view, what's worse is how Roxy may see it. Cassie, someone who she recognizes and calls her friend, has Vanny's mask obscuring her face during this scene. She doesn't say a word until she deactivates her. Cassie clearly means well, but this is really sad all around. Edit: Reasonably so, people are saying she can't see (because she has no eyes). However, a point I will bring up is that while she may not have physical eyes, her being a security node may be able to give her at least some limited vision in AR. When Cassie pulls out the Faz-wrench, you can see Roxy react, as her digital eyes glance at it.

Props to this DLC for having a much more emotional story than the base game. No Let's Players wanted to deactivate Roxy and some were so adamant that they refused to do it. Roxy and Cassy only had like 3 interaction up until this point so it's extra impressive how poignant this story beat was. I'm consequentially fully invested in Roxy and Cassie's relationship for the future DLC.

Playing the dlc, I got pissed off at Roxy for murdering me 5 feet away a few times, but when she apologized, I felt sorry for her.. then deactivating her was one of the hardest things I could do. Can’t believe I teared up for a killer animal animatronic. DARN YOU FNAF!

The parts that really got me were when she said cassie was number one twice even if in security breach she always appointed herself as number one.. hearing her say that just broke my heart as well as hearing her saying that cassie's friends will come to her party showing how caring and gentle she truly is under her broken shell and now freed core... I was literally crying seeing this part 😭

So nobody is going to address how the mask allows Cassie to essentially see glitches in The Matrix? Does the mask give her the ability to alter reality?
I’ve heard of a theory that states once Cassie put the mask on, reality in the mask and outside of it is all in her head and it was implemented by the mask. It’s why there were cutouts of Cassie’s memories around the place, and why Helpi says that all of this is in her head. He even says it when she has the mask off. This doesn’t state how she isn’t able to walk through objects in the real world however

You know, none of the Glamrocks have ever hurt kids, aside from Gregory, but it's shown that Burntrap is capable of influencing them in his game. So this is kinda the first time we get to see them as they were meant to be when off stage.

@Bordemm By far, some robots do treat as a tool because of this, not all humans are nice like us and they would've forced to harm innocent people with their weapons and plus they would've become a killing machine that it's not their fault cuz they didn't know how to control it, especially they had their attack mode or a phantom/evil side of their heads.
Roxy has always been my favorite and I absolutely hated it that every single player that played SB hated her with their guts because of her confidence and it broke my heart seeing her getting deactivated,Everytime I see that scene tears roll down my cheeks. ROXY DESERVES MORE🤩❤

I disagree with what people say about Security Breach and Ruin but with this scene the devs should be proud of themselves. The music, the way Cassie holds her hand. I had to take a moment with tears to applaud before continuing.
When this moment came I didn't talk until we got to the underground cave, and that was *only* because I was flabbergasted by the sudden change in scenery. I genuinely asked myself "what game am I in?"
That scene almost made me cry, Roxy character development in Ruin is wonderful I'll be curious to see the reactions to the first encounter with her too!
When I first saw this, I got teary eyed, I immediately had a flashback when I was a kid back in elementary school, I was bullied and outcasted, but I still tried inviting my classmates for my birthday party, I saw them threw away my invitation card. No one showed up to my birthday party.
This scene made me blubber like a walrus. I was so thrilled to see Roxy return later on to defend Cassie. And her calling out for Cassie at the end so we know she survived the Mimic.
This moment hurts my heart of course, especially the “because you are number one, twice.” But what really breaks me is hearing Cassie crying on the way down.
I do think this was an amazing move on the writer/director's behalf. Roxanne is a beloved character people felt bad for in the original Security Breach, even though she was half of the more vicious foes. Now she's actually helping the protagonist but we have to put her out of commission. Heartbreaking

The first time I seen it was when I was watching Mark play Ruin... You have absolutely no idea how much I cried when first seeing this side of Roxy. I was crying so much for longer than I'd expect from Security Breach 😭 it broke my heart so much
This part was sad and all, but in my opinion, the elevator ending was even sadder, as Gregory just up and seemingly betrayed Cassie, his own friend, by dropping the elevator to her apparent doom to prevent the Mimic from following them. Now, I’m not entirely sure if that was the case, ‘cause it’s possible that it wasn’t Gregory at all, but the Mimic impersonating him and tricking Cassie once again, due to it being unlikely that the real Gregory could even operate an elevator from such a distance, since he claims to not even be at the Pizzaplex. Not to mention the audio feedback on the elevator intercom occurred during his speech, and it showed a second “Gregory” subtitle at the same time. Still, that ending absolutely upset and scarred me, ‘cause it was a big cliffhanger, and I hate cliffhangers. Also, I wanted a better ending, like a happy one, or at least a decent wrap-up to the story, like a heartwarming reunion between Gregory and Cassie if Cassie were to successfully escape in the end. The other endings didn’t help any, either, since there wasn’t much after-credits sequences to any of them, like the scooper ending. The secret Fredbear ending was just confusing. The only part that was even close to an after-credits sequence was after the elevator ending, where you could hear Roxy say “Cassie?,” meaning Cassie possibly survived the fall. The ending ruined Ruin for me, ‘cause it was all a big waste of time ‘cause of the twist, with joke endings and no payoff. So Steel Wool, if you’re reading this, please make up for it by updating Ruin with additional gameplay and more endings, making another or more DLCs or at least making Help Wanted 2 the continuation to Ruin and not leaving us hanging with more unanswered questions and theories.
Well I think it was Gregory, one of the first lines that he says is he has a friend that has the schematics of the place. That would most likely refer to Vanessa as in the corner mask ending we still see Gregory with Vanessa at the tree, so it would make sense that his friend with the schematics is the head security guard of the pizzaplex. She'd also most likely have access to the controls in the pizzaplex as if she's the one who was fueling glitchtrap's body in Security Breach then she'd had to have been down there. This makes me think that Vanessa probably gave gregory the controls to the elevator to use remotely by a button or something and shut down the power to the pizzaria underground, or maybe the whole pizzaplex and causing the lift to collapse, and it ending with Cassie waking up after the fall to see Roxy with her. I do hope we get a sequel DLC as Ruin just left us with even more questions than answers, like who is MXES, so I hope that like you said either Help Wanted 2 or just another DLC ties into Ruin's ending. But we can only hope
Its actually kinda funny how this works So the youtubers that are less accosiated with fnaf (like dantdm) didnt show that much emotion Yet the ones that have fnaf pretty much as thier main content you would think this would be revenge for all the jumpscares but no thier the ones that show the most remorse for what happened

I have a theory on this. I have a feeling we shut down Roxy’s core programming, but there was some other program running inside of her. Said program being the REAL her, a program that despite losing the core operating system, was able to continue controlling her body. Just a mini theory 👌
i remember leading up to this- or atleast before roxy and cassie have their interaction over her eyes and roxy began to (or atleast how i took it) come back from that clouded headspace of some kind wherever she was and realized she wasn't.....*her* which was the same moment that i asked in the same moment that she apologized i was like "...Roxy?" and then the door shut. When this happened i was pleading like razz apparently was, begging for a way to fix her- to help her SAVE her. To SAVE them, chica and monty included and save them from this horrible fate i left them in as Gregory.
Ive never been emotional in any kind of movie, games or any shit like that... but roxy really broke my heart when I realized I couldn't go back in my decision and was forced to do that, I almost cried at that part, it litteraly sent shivers on me, I never felt this way, I consider myself to be mostly aphatic in this sense, and it is something I deeply hate, but doesn't matter as much for me, but this scene holds a place on my heart, great fucking job steelwool, I loved playing the ruin dlc, rollercoaster of a game, and that is what fnaf standard should be from now on and to greater things, really glad to follow along with this crazy community, It brought me so much joy, my best friend, the love of my life and the most fun in my life, scott made it with heart, and steel wool is adjusting it to learn from past mistakes and set the bar high, so it can continue what scott did. looking forward for help wanted 2 and the crazy shit it's gonna bring, curious for the new minigames, HW was great... again, thank you steel wool studios for all

She is still okay somehow, she saved cassie from the mimic and in the end of credits she also confirmed she is not destroyd by the mimic. I smell there will be more about Cassie and Roxy. Also the canon ending will be the one where Gregory "betrays"cassie ( could be the mimic)

I never thought I would be sad about an animatronic that has tried to kill you several times I like to imagine that the souls inside them are just afraid as much as we are that's why the animatronics lashes out at us because what else do you do when your afraid? you fight back they didn't ask to be this way they were programmed or manipulated by William or someone else, I still like the think fazbear's entertainment is turning into cult!
When I saw the teasers for the original security breach game I thought Roxy was awesome but then in the game she was portrayed badly so I started to hate her, I'm so glad that RUIN gave us a reason to love her

The last thing she hears is Cassie saying in a heartbroken voice "I'm sorry, Roxy, I'm so sorry"
Roxy still saves Cassie from Mimic, so I assume she knew that Cassie had no other choice and didn't mean it.

Playing the dlc, I got pissed off at Roxy for murdering me 5 feet away a few times, but when she apologized, I felt sorry for her.. then deactivating her was one of the hardest things I could do. Can’t believe I teared up for a killer animal animatronic. DARN YOU FNAF!

The parts that really got me were when she said cassie was number one twice even if in security breach she always appointed herself as number one.. hearing her say that just broke my heart as well as hearing her saying that cassie's friends will come to her party showing how caring and gentle she truly is under her broken shell and now freed core... I was literally crying seeing this part 😭

I’ve heard of a theory that states once Cassie put the mask on, reality in the mask and outside of it is all in her head and it was implemented by the mask. It’s why there were cutouts of Cassie’s memories around the place, and why Helpi says that all of this is in her head. He even says it when she has the mask off. This doesn’t state how she isn’t able to walk through objects in the real world however

@Bordemm By far, some robots do treat as a tool because of this, not all humans are nice like us and they would've forced to harm innocent people with their weapons and plus they would've become a killing machine that it's not their fault cuz they didn't know how to control it, especially they had their attack mode or a phantom/evil side of their heads.

I actually always liked her, she had an insecurity thing going on, but it's Security Breach so it wasn't developed in any way. I'm glad she's finally getting the recognition she deserves.

This scene made me blubber like a walrus. I was so thrilled to see Roxy return later on to defend Cassie. And her calling out for Cassie at the end so we know she survived the Mimic.
This moment hurts my heart of course, especially the “because you are number one, twice.” But what really breaks me is hearing Cassie crying on the way down.
I do think this was an amazing move on the writer/director's behalf. Roxanne is a beloved character people felt bad for in the original Security Breach, even though she was half of the more vicious foes. Now she's actually helping the protagonist but we have to put her out of commission. Heartbreaking

The first time I seen it was when I was watching Mark play Ruin... You have absolutely no idea how much I cried when first seeing this side of Roxy. I was crying so much for longer than I'd expect from Security Breach 😭 it broke my heart so much
This part was sad and all, but in my opinion, the elevator ending was even sadder, as Gregory just up and seemingly betrayed Cassie, his own friend, by dropping the elevator to her apparent doom to prevent the Mimic from following them. Now, I’m not entirely sure if that was the case, ‘cause it’s possible that it wasn’t Gregory at all, but the Mimic impersonating him and tricking Cassie once again, due to it being unlikely that the real Gregory could even operate an elevator from such a distance, since he claims to not even be at the Pizzaplex. Not to mention the audio feedback on the elevator intercom occurred during his speech, and it showed a second “Gregory” subtitle at the same time. Still, that ending absolutely upset and scarred me, ‘cause it was a big cliffhanger, and I hate cliffhangers. Also, I wanted a better ending, like a happy one, or at least a decent wrap-up to the story, like a heartwarming reunion between Gregory and Cassie if Cassie were to successfully escape in the end. The other endings didn’t help any, either, since there wasn’t much after-credits sequences to any of them, like the scooper ending. The secret Fredbear ending was just confusing. The only part that was even close to an after-credits sequence was after the elevator ending, where you could hear Roxy say “Cassie?,” meaning Cassie possibly survived the fall. The ending ruined Ruin for me, ‘cause it was all a big waste of time ‘cause of the twist, with joke endings and no payoff. So Steel Wool, if you’re reading this, please make up for it by updating Ruin with additional gameplay and more endings, making another or more DLCs or at least making Help Wanted 2 the continuation to Ruin and not leaving us hanging with more unanswered questions and theories.
Well I think it was Gregory, one of the first lines that he says is he has a friend that has the schematics of the place. That would most likely refer to Vanessa as in the corner mask ending we still see Gregory with Vanessa at the tree, so it would make sense that his friend with the schematics is the head security guard of the pizzaplex. She'd also most likely have access to the controls in the pizzaplex as if she's the one who was fueling glitchtrap's body in Security Breach then she'd had to have been down there. This makes me think that Vanessa probably gave gregory the controls to the elevator to use remotely by a button or something and shut down the power to the pizzaria underground, or maybe the whole pizzaplex and causing the lift to collapse, and it ending with Cassie waking up after the fall to see Roxy with her.
I do hope we get a sequel DLC as Ruin just left us with even more questions than answers, like who is MXES, so I hope that like you said either Help Wanted 2 or just another DLC ties into Ruin's ending. But we can only hope
You can kind of hear the subtitles over lap, so it might have been the mimic that dropped the elevator.. but we will find out next time.

I have a theory on this. I have a feeling we shut down Roxy’s core programming, but there was some other program running inside of her.
Said program being the REAL her, a program that despite losing the core operating system, was able to continue controlling her body.

i remember leading up to this- or atleast before roxy and cassie have their interaction over her eyes and roxy began to (or atleast how i took it) come back from that clouded headspace of some kind wherever she was and realized she wasn't.....*her*
which was the same moment that i asked in the same moment that she apologized i was like "...Roxy?" and then the door shut.
When this happened i was pleading like razz apparently was, begging for a way to fix her- to help her
SAVE her.
To SAVE them, chica and monty included and save them from this horrible fate i left them in as Gregory.

Ive never been emotional in any kind of movie, games or any shit like that... but roxy really broke my heart when I realized I couldn't go back in my decision and was forced to do that, I almost cried at that part, it litteraly sent shivers on me, I never felt this way, I consider myself to be mostly aphatic in this sense, and it is something I deeply hate, but doesn't matter as much for me, but this scene holds a place on my heart, great fucking job steelwool, I loved playing the ruin dlc, rollercoaster of a game, and that is what fnaf standard should be from now on and to greater things, really glad to follow along with this crazy community, It brought me so much joy, my best friend, the love of my life and the most fun in my life, scott made it with heart, and steel wool is adjusting it to learn from past mistakes and set the bar high, so it can continue what scott did. looking forward for help wanted 2 and the crazy shit it's gonna bring, curious for the new minigames, HW was great... again, thank you steel wool studios for all

Never thought my heart would break for Roxy. How she acted around Cassie... That must be the REAL Roxy. I have a theory that she let Cassie win that day, she saw she was sad and thought it would help her feel better.
She is still okay somehow, she saved cassie from the mimic and in the end of credits she also confirmed she is not destroyd by the mimic. I smell there will be more about Cassie and Roxy. Also the canon ending will be the one where Gregory "betrays"cassie ( could be the mimic)

I never thought I would be sad about an animatronic that has tried to kill you several times I like to imagine that the souls inside them are just afraid as much as we are that's why the animatronics lashes out at us because what else do you do when your afraid? you fight back they didn't ask to be this way they were programmed or manipulated by William or someone else, I still like the think fazbear's entertainment is turning into cult!

The fact that the other Glamrock animatronics used to act like Glamrock Freddy before the Glitchtrap virus made them evil is just so heartbreaking💔. I felt bad for both Roxy and Cassie😭.
