What I find fascinating with streaming is people get paid just for being themselves to a camera, its so wholesome for both parties involved, the streamer gets paid, almost an affirmation for their personality, while the chatters enjoy the stream so much they feel they can only express that love of streamer keeping them company through money.

Apart from being in my 30s, I am mostly unaware of internet culture pre-2015/16, as I wasn't active on social media or internet forums for the most part (watched pirated anime and read pirated manga, while also trying a bunch of different mmos, but wasn't tuned in to most culture stuff online), plus I'm from Ireland, while Kronii is from Canada. Additionally I was in an all-boys school for most of my pre-college schooling, so combined with my awkwardness (not one of the interesting forms of autism, just no good in social situations) combined with extreme cowardice meaning I had pretty much no contact with non-family women. I've had no chance to learn the bizarre words that my generation apparently invented.

I don't know why she talks about her IRL looks so much. I don't willingly look up what any of them look like as there should be a line between what a Vtuber is and what who the person is. The ones that do face reveals do it for compliments (find me a face reveal without any). Kiara does this too, and I only know who she is because I was a fan of her earlier work - I cant really watch her at all now because she seems so intent on discussing IRL faces too.
