I call The Drifter, Eris Morn, and The Exo Stranger the Dark Vanguard. Fits the chaotic trio. and can we talk about how smooth the scene at 19:50 is? One of the best cutscenes if you ask me

They did a pretty good job with the villains of this DLC. They each feel either compelling or entertaining, equal to the Scorn Barrons, if not a little better than them.
The Rising Resistance mission made me think we were gonna take part in a badass great Fallen Civil War and fight alongside the House of Light against the House of Darkness...of course not. :(
They really tried in terms of making an...existing narrative! As far as Destiny stories go, I am impressed vaguely! (I know this sounds very backhanded but I am geneuinely impressed.)

I think Bungie's just sorta molded existing characters to be "Vets" at this point, since Osiris asks Zavala to send "The Young Wolf", which is something he should only say if you played RoI That or Veteran Status is Bungie Profile-wide now and not exclusive to just whatever platform we played on. (I don't have a D1 Vet account on PC since I started when D2 launched on PC)
The thing I liked about this story is all of what Eramis done originally was to save the Elisnski rebuild a home for them but got corrupt by darkness. Also it’s a fallen DLC so it’s gonna be good. The raid was also amazing with easy to understand mechanics and encounter for new players after the day 1 challenge but for us who done day 1 it was a big challenge.
And Waddles the Pig, and Perry the Platypus, Hammod from Overwatch and Murky from Heroes of the Storm, and just about every other cartoon animal. Oh, he also voiced the Gravemind from Halo. Y'know, the big hivemind worm made of corpses. :)

So, she has no ability to use the power of darkness from within (kinda like player learned and could just switch a tree to a stasis, instead of only able to wield it when empowered by cruxes) and need to harvest it to be able to use the darkness?
It's called a Splinter and yes, people need it to use Stasis, because it's what what gives them Stasis to begin with. However as the Guardian clearly showed, some people don't need it to *keep* using Stasis. Eramis was using a Splinter too, though it's unanswered whether or not she could've kept using Stasis without it. (Does that answer your question? I'm a bit confused with your wording.)

@@jem5378 I want to believe that Eramis froze over with Stasis because of two potential reasons. 1.) The splinter she had couldn't protect her from all the stasis we could use. 2.) Because we beat Eramis, the darkness found her 'unworthy' of being able to wield stasis and decided to use it against her as both a punishment for failing and a means of intimidating us into using it ourselves. The second reason is something I might choose to believe until we're given a clearer answer
