My punch adventure AMT gives Avg 19 - 20 kmpl in highway. Chennai City Office time traffic Avg 13 - 14. Chennai City night non office hours traffic Avg 16 - 17. Worst is bumper to bumper it gives 11 - 12 kmpl. So it depends on the way we drive and traffic. In fact, if we drive in 70 to 80 in highway with less RPM it gives 23 kmpl also. I experienced this 23kmpl in ORR (Vandalur to Nemilichery)

For Chennai, Pondy people this route is the shortest. But Most travel videos are from Bangalore and for them Salem ,Rasipuram would be shortest.

Bro naanum Attur , keeripatty (near malliakarai) dhan. Attur to Rasipuram road laid recently. During that laying period, This road was too wrost. Unable to drive. Many two wheeler got accident due to the road conditions.

Yes right. Average i got 16.5km/l for 785km which includes hill drive. Dashboard showroom 17.4km/l
@@DiwakarRajanOnline yes I went for Dharmasthala it’s around 800kms which includes hills ghat road highway and over all average I got around 16kmpl in dashboard it was showing around 19.7kmpl

I said Google shows me through vaniyambadi turn left. I doubt how that route will be.
Google maps will show many routes depending on the traffic and other conditions. If one wants adventure could take alternate routes. Nowadays with streetview in Gmaps ( might not be recent one) one could view the road conditions in advance. I used to take the roads less travelled and never faced problems. Nowadays most of the roads are in drivable conditions only .
