Man when I was a kid love action was in my cassette player, playing over and over. Lol the human league was and still are my all time favorite 80s pop group. They are all musical geniuses. They were right there with Duran Duran, culture club, flock of seagulls, Gary numan, there were so many to list here. I always thought the girls in human league were so beautiful. Wow stone cold foxes...
Funny, @@RocStarr913 it doesn't seem like Jam and Lewis had an idea about what The Human League were about and did the Jam and Lewis thing with Human League colours...

this song reminds me of being in my early and mid 20's, hanging out with friends on Friday and Saturday nights either at a diner, bar or one anothers house
@@gregbrown3283 I don't know about that. It's him that took the band in that mainstream direction when the original band split. He couldn't have been that worried about the fame.

It took me 6 tries to find this song after they played this beat in the middle of time out during tonight's Sunday night football it was a good one. Just sayin
This vid reminds me of the 1985 series "Rock 'n' Roll Summer Action" (aired on ABC, and apparently a Dick Clark production). It invites a cross-reference to the "Dancin' on Air" (local to Greater Philadelphia; had a sister series, "Dance Party USA" on basic cable) episodes set on the South Jersey coast.
At least go through the motions right, Mr. Bass player, not even plucking the last note of the main lick. Almost every time. He also doesn’t look like the original guy and neither the video guy nor the track slap the solo. Ugh. The rest killed it.
I don't know about anyone else but the girls are doing typical 80's dancing...especially the one on the left. When I danced my kids would always comment on my arms... "Why do you have to move your arms like that, mom?" Haha
Amazing watching Laura Branigan making the introduction for Human League. ❤
She was amazing good energy
She was gorgeous and talented! What a sad loss.
I was literally saying to myself " isn't that laura branigan?!"
Dang!! Great catching that!!! 👍👍👍❤️❤️❤️

If you could go back to the early 80s, feller, you wouldn’t come back here.
Waiting to complete my time machine then it's bye bye

@@djjess9553Thats her introducing them at the beginning of the video
To ME..this was their BEST song !!
this was a great song but they also had Don't You Want Me, Mirror Man & Human
For me also their best song was love action
This song was how Jimmy Jam & Terry Lewis wanted to do music with them.

Hermosa laura branigan haciendo la introducción de este fabuloso grupo! Esta canción es de 1983.
I remember watching this when it originally aired on tv. So so well.
QUÉ EDAD TENÍAS EN ESO ENTONCES? 8 years?
This was from an American TV special in 1984 called Rock Rolls.
holy shit Laura Branigan!!!!!!
Leo que a muchos nos sorprendió la aparición de la hermosa Laura Branigan al dar entrada al video. Eso le da más valor al documento.
Así es :D

Oh I love this ❤
Oakey can barely contain his enthusiasm ........"Man" what a performance !!
tony wood
He never wanted to be a pop star
They told him there'd be burgers and donuts on the set.... but there wasn't :-D
tony wood its also because this is a lip synced performance like many tv performances of the 80's. It's the exact same sound as the album track.

Wow!How they look good under the natural light.
Aaaah Laura Branigan !!
Que video musical más completo y fantástico !!!!!!!
La verdadera formación de the human league, 2 voces masculinas y 2 femeninas, para la historia.

Que hermoso!!! Human League y Laura ...
They looked and sounded amazing. Phil Oakey is a 🇬🇧 legend
It's all that BASS!
How wonderful
Given that they are lip syncing they should really redo the audio on this video. Love his hair!😍

Phil during his Bret "The Hitman" Hart phase. Kidding, I've idolized that man since I was a wee lad.
I guess he was encouraged to look more macho by the time the Hysteria album was released.

Hermosa Laura Branigan, RIP
This song was used to advertise the Synsonics drum machine (like an idiot I bought one, but it's a quaint thing now...still works after 35 years)
And you discovered the machine does not sound like this?

More to do with setting up the equipment outside on a pier. Plus with all that wind their voices would have been drowned out by it on the microphones.
