Hi Joshua from Melbourne Australia. I’m so enjoying your videos you obviously have a great passion for gardening and your garden is coming along in leaps and bounds. Well done please keep going .

Great choices! I love purple- and dark-leaved plants! Although, I'm not sure the weigela will stay in a mounded shape; they can get fairly wonky, ha, but it won't get out of hand and it's in a great location if it does get a little wonky. They're beautiful plants. Cheers!

Thank you! And if the weigela gets a bit wonky I’m okay with that :)

All awesome plants! I agree an evergreen would finish off that area- maybe a blue evergreen

what did you add to your planting holes prior to adding the plant? it looked like manure or compost and fertilizer? couldn't tell from the bags. love your choices! I too have a purple and green area planted. I added a nightglow honeysuckle bush and a show off sugar baby forsythia for pops of yellow color.

I added composted manure and biotone starter fertilizer from espoma. I looked up that honeysuckle and that is beautiful!!

Just curious Joshua about how your Tiny Quick Fire is "performing" this season. How big is it right now?
