This video is so great, definitely subscribing. Ended up finding a d110 at a pawn shop literally 30 minutes ago and this really helped me understand it more with what it’s capable of🙏🏽👏
@@IanDixonTDL would you be family with connecting this or Ableton?? So far my setup is based off of this video here: th-cam.com/video/5tMo9akH2eY/w-d-xo.htmlsi=3_YO_I_bPGq4kKRP (but for my audio interface im using a Scarlett) when I play notes on my keyboard it will play noise and be recognized by my daw but it plays delayed versions of one of the demo songs in different octaves rather than a single note from a patch I want to play
The sounds are very much of their time but still have their place, just like the Fairlight which - correct me if I'm wrong - was a little more expensive.
@@IanDixonTDL That's the master for my Roland rack. The keys are not bad for a budget synth and if you layer it with other stuff from the same era like the U110, U220 you can really enjoy the sounds of the past.

@@impietas5011 I don't use Albeton so not sure, you should be able to pick your input device and output device on a track
Great!!!
Will you have in the future a combined samplebank for all your sampled performances ? For the modwave ❤🎉
I may look at doing that.

just a llittle!
My best mate just got a D20. A Wavestate D110 collection would indeed be great
I would subscribe and then wait maybe two weeks ;)
It's bad, but adorable. The presets are weak. There are good sounds to be found. I like that little bugger a lot.
I had a D20 and the sounds have a charm of their own.

@@patrikknoerr9777 Yes, the sound takes me back to 88
Hey I have this
Ita a great little unit
Sounds a lot more dated than the JV-series. The sounds reminded me a lot of Monkey Island with the MT32 🙂
Well the MT32 is based on the D-110 so that will be why.
Jeez..those sounds are shite!
They have a certain late 80s sound to them :)
