I'm sorry but that excuse from your dad was lame. He didn't come because of your stepdad? There's no way I would let anything or anyone get in the way of me seeing my child go to prom. You don't get to attend other proms. Just like graduations. They don't repeat the same grades. After college, now what? Those graduations, school activities, etc are important to some and they want the people who are important to them to be there. Hearing that was the reason would've made me lose it. For real.

My prom was horrible. I bought a ticket for my date at the time. He told me he couldn't go bc he was "sick". I offered to stay home with him but he insisted that i go without him . Aw I really relate to the feeling of having to do sexual things to retain your mans attention. I was also (younger) and dumb. I look back on those moments ashamed of myself. My prom was pretty terrible. I went with a friend, but I had a secret crush on him. They played All my life by Kci & Jojo, he danced with his ex. We went out to eat afterwards as a group, he paid for her food and not mine💔we went to kick it at this boy’s house afterwards, she was there boo’d up on the couch with another guy😂I thought it was her twin sister at first but no, my date confirmed it was her. Fast forward to now, it’s been rumored that he’s geigh but I haven’t seem him in almost a decade so idk.
My prom was soooo BORING. My mom was mad that I was going with a girl so she checked out and barely interacted with me the night of my prom, my grandma had to do everything. Then my ab*sive girlfriend at the time would not let me take a single picture by myself, even when it was with my friends she didn't like. So I also have no pictures of just me from that night. 🙃 I was so irritated and disappointed.

My prom was the worst! I went with a guy I didn’t know my boyfriend at the time paid for everything although he didn’t want to go I got dressed at my boyfriends parents house…. Once at the prom the guy left me until it was over I walked the prom alone and just sat and took pictures once we left I fell asleep and woke up in Mississippi in a hotel parking lot begging him to take me home
