I have always wondered what the point of the time trial question is. The rest of the game is knowledge based, and allows you to take a degree of time, yet the process of selecting a contestant is based on speed.
V777: Yes, I found his constant put-downs rather rude . . . There was no need for it, and I think the man did far better than Jeremy would have done with those questions 🥺🥺
Easiest question was the £16k one - Electrons. I also would've struggled with pretty much all of the rest. Always interesting how few people care about £16-32k and how little that amount of money means to them. No way I'm risking £24k on a whim that quickly. Unless this is heavily edited.
He should’ve been reminded that he can take the money final answer before he answers, he rushed in actually, answering too soon, very difficult questions
All questions are easy if you know them and difficult if you don’t. Most of the middle questions will be process-of-elimination based. You may not know the answer, but you should know which others to rule out. It’s a bonus if you happen to know the actual answer.
this is why Clarkson should host every show on tv
I’ve been watching these episodes when brushing my teeth, getting ready and cooking

It’s for excitement. Adds some early stakes / tension
The point might be that they want „not the sharpest pencils in the box“ to also have a chance. If it was all knowledge-based they wouldnt have a shot.
I went to school with this guy what a dork!
He gives off real... know it all syndrome...I bet he was but actually dumb😂
what year and month was this?
Damn Jeremy was doing to war on the poor fella :p

I agree
Tried his best, good guesses. ❤❤🎉🎉

16k-32k are amounts many people could reasonably have sat in their bank. The numbers they’ve never reached before are much more appealing.
He had the toughest questions I’ve ever seen past £1000 and I didn’t know the Anglesey answer.
But Live Aid in 1986?
These are some tough questions honestly
Tough questios for the young lad there.
I thought so too (except Anglesey)
😂😂
I’m 29 and I knew it, standard quiz question
@@AC-sd6fo good on you mate, I’m 41 and have no shame in admitting not knowing this question, we’re not all quizers bro
@@scottmackenzie1170 eastenders and live aid being 1985 is standard knowledge

1:02 mr men and Litlle miss question
2:29 2 million pounds what?
But Here is 1 million pounds
He did well with those questions, but I really struggle watching someone who starts every sentence with the word "So,"
The way Jeremy treated young Kane here really wasn't on. I hope the young lad was okay after this.
Those’d 3o seconds should start AFTER the question has been read, 30 seconds ANSWER TIME!
First question should be "What is your name" ...........youv'e just won £1000!
I love banter but this just felt mean at parts
Got me too bubba
Jeremy is very rude here, feel sorry for the poor fella!!
I would've gone home with nothing. Got the 1,000 wrong. The others before I got right. I knew nothing after that either.
Could the host be more insulting to this guy! Shameful mate.
he said b on q 5 and it ws c, its a fix!
I don’t want to be mean, so I’m just going to post here that I’m making a lovely daal for tea tonight.
That won't curry favour with anyone around here.
Terrible questions. Most involving popular culture. I would also have trouble answering them.
They're not terrible if you haven't the same general knowledge of a Berber from the Sahara

Jeremy detests this guy.... obviously
Yes, very arrogant.
Kane was very unlikable
Like most Essex lads his age. Not surprising.
@@Cheximus indeed
Nervousness can often be mistaken for arrogance
Specially when/why they speak at 100 miles an hour👎👎👎👎
Why do some people say so before they speak a sentence. One dose not like it. 😊
