- Introducing Crompton Greaves Trans Air 12" black color which is made around 1997.
The quality of this exhaust fan is way thicker,stronger & powerful than almonard, havells, orient & usha exhaust fan of all times.
This fan weight is really heavy around 4.5 kilos & specifications are:- 70W 1350RPM 300MM 1800M³/H

Except Electro Explorer's 1997 Transair have slightly greater RPM than your 1997 Transair. But Airflow on both are insanely powerful.
Nice to see this nostalgic fan, I had 9" Of year 1989,had to discard last year as the body broke due to age, 1989 I think was the starting of transair production

Winding was original, only capacitor changed, but as it was used roughly and not maintained well as it was in my uncle's mill, it started to rust as the paint peeled of And when they tried to uninstall the fan, the stupid guy dropped the fan which resulted in body damage(for repaint purpose), so had to discard, replaced by G logo 2012 9" Transair

Those blades have a good curve and high blade angle for better airflow 1800 m3/hr than new transair 1600 m3/hr.
Old is gold obviously but newer Solan one Still better than almonard dbb exhausts

Secondly, almonard is banned from Bengal since 2012.
If u are a mechanic for atleast an hour & disassemble 5-10 dirty broken Crompton TA & almonard dbb for repair & some local made dbb exhaust too, you can understand what's quality of what & etc.
