Half of the characters are so annoying in this drama. The "princess wife" drives me crazy, all the old ladies are mean, cruel, evil, especially that money hungry one. They turn my stomach. I feel sorry for some of the men. And how in the world are those two lazy men not working at all, but the old ladies don't want them even to help and expect the wife to take care of everything? I don't know if such things exist in Korea for real or it's all just crazy exaggerated in this drama, but literally, these are the most annoying people ever...it's hard to watch how horrible they are to each other, everything's about success and money and bragging and making others jealous; what shallow minded, wicked hearted people, and what a terrible way to live. Although there are things to like, there is also so much to dislike about Korean culture. Even if this is an exaggeration, at least in this drama, several family members can easily be called abusive. They are completely mentally unhealthy.

This show is driving me insane and I'm only 4 episodes in. I literally hate every character in the main family except the 2 younger sisters, the father, the uncle, and the two younger kids. I really hate the mom and mother in law, both are so annoying. Why be so annoying when your own son has no job and isn't even trying to change that? Just because he's one year younger? And he's not even that handsome, like come on. Also, the mom keeps belittling her daughter to the point it hurts me because my own mom says stuff like that. Honestly, I would ignore the mom and never even see her. I really lost it when she was like 'Your kids are poor so they wouldn't understand' like wtf, they are your grandchildren too! I'm trying hard to make it through the show but most shows like these really piss me off lol and it breaks my heart when families are so toxic like this.
