yeah i got the game 3 days ago and have 42 hours into it so far its so addicting. even after all this time i feel like i understand maybe like 40% of the game lol
I love this game! 20 hours to learn the basics is a crazy understatement, I'm 50 hours in and just opened up my second base, I don't even know how to manage the first one yet lol.
After watching your vid, I have some suggestions but feel free to take it however you'd like and play however you like. 1) I would recommend you take all chests you come across, if you don't use them to put in your base for extra storage (which you will need, TRUST me.) You can sell it to make a decent amount of coin. 2) The potions you gifted, you should save. There's a way to turn them into empty vials, which you can then turn into random potions. OR, you can sell them but don't just gift, unless you're wanting to gain someone to your settlement. 3) PRAY! Oh, pray will save your buns sooooooooo much. 4) Big Leaves are obtained via Palulu Trees, which are found near beached areas. Beaches will be very valuable for you early game, and in a general sense. 5) Early game, you'll want to head to Mysilia asap and perform quests there via the Quest Board. Get yourself a nice amount of reputation, technically, you only need 3 but gather around 13. Right click on the furniture tickets, use it on the Tax Chest (found at the banker). 3 tickets, will allow you to grab it so you can pay taxes at your base, instead of needing to travel. The rest of those tickets should be spent on a bed or a fridge, something useful to your base and (in my opinion) something to prolong food preservation. Again, play however you'd like though. 6) Invest early on, for better items to appear in your favorite stores. Before investing, become a merchant via the Merchants Guild. Very useful. 7) SAVE YOUR GOLD! You'll want to get "Appraise" as early as possible, so it can start leveling (Via Tinkerers Camp) Anything unidentified, just leave it in your inventory as you walk around and it'll get appraised eventually. Your Gold will be useful later but there are quite a bit you want to spend on early, so you can start leveling them up. Your choice. I think that's it for some early help.
This is pretty cool, I would love to see you make this into a crazy fortress city. I love games like these where you have a personal view and not an abstract ruler like manor lords or Farthest Frontier.
Elin is a successor to Elona. Elona's devs at one point moved onto other things while the community has kept it alive like with Elona+ which adds new features and bugfixes. The Elona of today costs nothing to play. Elin was made by the original Elona dev and some other team members.
Tgis game is well worth the asking price even in early access. The built in steam workshop, and the fact that it is a sequel to another long lived rog Elona ensure it's worth coming back to even after taking a break from it for a while.
Hihi, love your video, im interested in buying, but Ive bad eyes - Is there an option for bigger UI and larger fonts? Are the maps Procedually generated for every new gameplay? thank you :)
i picked the little girl as well. she asked me to go bird watching. so we went. somehow she got super drunk and started stripping. then i died cause apparently bird watching takes stamina. 10/10 for sure.

Always excited to see more YTers/Streamers cover Elin
It’s a good game
It's just 1for1 Elona again and I love it.
I saw this game was coming into early access and bought it immediately. Money well spent and there is a lot to it.

Stardew Valley + Kenshi?? 😮
You've got my attention!
The little girl is the best pet if you want a powerful follower.
@@OrcHunter-yb4ie aww hell nah
@@solardigitale6406 At start. Later, you can buy more powerful ones.
Im stuck on the farmer with the first race at the top of the list. Im addicted to that learning stat even though im not 100% how it works.

thank you :)
Maps are procedurally generated within the same playthrough. Not sure what triggers the reset, you can revisit a map if you go back quickly enough.
I’m actually not sure
Yes, you can adjust font and UI size.
Confirmed you can control a lot of ui options - has a whole ui siding tab
The world itself is static. Always the same map.
But dungeon, caves and tile maps are random
Too funny! Wizard stole your bed LOL
🤠
This looks like Elona and literally has almost the same name
It’s made by the same team
@@Jolly123123123 this is elona's prequel
You can have little girl as a pet in his game. 10/10 for immersion.
@@definitelyhuman4510 it kinda threw me off lol
@@TacticatGamingshe has good starter gear.

She's a great fighter and tank for a mage character, much better than the actual pets, haven't tried the bear yet.
Damnit! Now I have to buy another game!… 😂🎉😂
It’s fun
@ yeah, I’ve got a few hours into it already. Not gonna get much done around the house this weekend… 😂😂🤣
It's only 20 on steam
Everyone who started playin Elin\Elona dies his first death because of exhaustion😅
Pretty much lol
Oh sweet summer child.
