Christopher you're a really good teacher. I love the way you simplify things to make it easier for a beginner to understand so that they can embark upon a wonderful journey. A lot of the people in non-duality / spirituality TH-cam videos often blabber on with seemingly jibber jabber-ish mumbo jumbo and I had no idea what they were going on about but really wanted to understand. Maybe they care more about sounding clever then actually teaching. You seem to care about the listener actually understanding. Glad I found your videos 🙏

Don't listen to the mumbo jumbo! Any teacher who *understands* what they're trying to say can express it clearly.

Thanks for sharing the otherwise inaccessible agamas, Chris. Great job! Whilst respecting the scriptures, I find it strange that we, as limited being wish to engage in a this or that practice, breathing or muscle control or otherwise, to activate the kundalini or Divine Mother. Ascent is rapid through the Sushumna but we cannot choose the path, much less control it, as a doer. In fact, I do not understand why the kundalini and chakras are instrumentalised or looked at as something external to our being. We need to do nothing except to accept, without resistance, becoming empty of all concepts. The energisation is automatic, bliss in permanence, oneness, recognition of light Self ~ all is grace.

Agree, most kundalini practices are superfluous and sometimes potentially dangerous.

    Listening again.
Amazing as my chakras were first felt in my heart, and I thought it was weird, but now it makes sense. Then it descended to muladhara then ascended again up to the head, then back down to the heart.
It was scary as hell too, for I have no guru but was practicing breath work out of a book. Haha! Now it always initiates in the heart.

Hi Christopher, this video is such a relief for me. Thanks a bunhch. A couple of weeks ago I experienced two massive inflows of the energy. They came rapidly into to the top of my head and then flew through the body. The flow was strong, pleasant, short (3-4 sec), and deafening. I got scared at first but decided not to resist. I'm wondering why do such experiences are happenning episodically and whether there is a pattern. Like earlier this week I had an out of the body experience during sleep. It is amazing to be connected to the source and though I hope I won't go crazy one day as a result of these sudden revelations

Namaste 🙏 Thank you for sharing most profound insight.
You have bridged gap between ancient sanskrit knowledge and its correct interpretations in quantum technology age.
While decoding cryptic ancient texts is nearly impossible ( each word has many meanings ) there are limitations to understand true meaning by reading or writting etc ( it can be only experienced on energectic level )
Most of the youtube content on kundalini ( by indians ) are theorotical or merely intellectual.
I feel prana is the only endeavour of every human activities ( religious, spiritual, technological or any other )
Prana needs to be understood on quantum, subatomic nature though its so subtle that उत्तर cannot be grasped by objective way through sense perspections alone.
I found buddhist and Daoist masters ( kalu riponche or other lamas ) also very practical and relevant to present times. I could not found "Dissolution of five elements in death process " or Bardo realms anywhere except only in Tibetan texts.
Kundalini being extremely explosive was kept hidden in india and nearly all very rare manuscripts are lost थॉसहसोफ years ago.
I am keen to know what if your oja, Tej and prana is lost in excessive sexual actions in early phase of awaenking.
In such case one has full understanding of the subject, many flash insights, burning of karmic blockages on many layers etc alongwith non duality, kindness, compasion etc but no fuel to go ahead on the path.
    Thank you

Ojas can be built up again, slowly, through certain energetic practices and proper attention to diet. Also energy leaks must be plugged, see my blog post on the subject. Lastly, sequential dissolution of the 5 elements in the dying process is already there in the early Upanishads.

      Thank you so much 👌🙏♥️
Despite being in india and having easy access to all vedic books, I was unaware of dissolution part.
I will explore your channel and blog extensively. I was very sure that all east asian spiritual traditions like daoist, buddhist and tibetan has its origin in india only.
Aakasha, prana and dark energy is indeed extremely interesting subjects which holds secrets of the universe.. You are most authorative for this subjects.

Thank you. Clear and straightforward. Wondering if there are any direct references to the Vishnu Granthi (knot) when the flow penetrates the Anahata? (I study Jyotish and have a sense (never read this) that this particular Vishnu Granthi refers to what we call 'Gandanta' between Scorpio and Sagittarius which is between Indra and Rudrini ruled nakshatras respectively.)

The practice of Uccara is originally aligned with astrological phenomena and astrological cycles, as explained in early texts of classical tantra. This is an aspect of the practice that Christopher Tompkins of UC Berkeley is especially knowledgeable about.

Chris, you’re still avoiding the explication of all those geometry symbols on the chakra tablets. Those symbols are instructions for a body-motion rhythm technique, for the experience of the absence of gravity.

Supposedly the rising of kundalini is associated with ‘awakening’ or enlightenment experiences and the like but I’ve never come across any reference in zen/ Chan descriptions and so on, nor anything really analogous… but many contemporary ‘nonduality’ teachers do speak of it.
In any event this apparent discontinuity would suggest to me at least that the phenomena is somewhat culturally bound, for lack of a better phrase.
I guess I just find the ways it appears in the popular discourse to be a bit suspect. Like ten years ago there was all this stuff about kundalini emergencies and distress and now it seems more of an afterthought… par for the course, as it were…
Curious how it trends and de-trends.
    Regardless, your scholarship is appreciated!

awakening does not require accompanying Kundalinī phenomena at all. It's just sometimes part of the package for some people. We simply don't know why.

@@christianrokicki I wrote a comment in the other video about kundalini, I had a spontaneous awakening 6 years ago, and I've been experiencing a vibration, a warmer and energy feeling through my body when I meditate. I don't know if what I'm feeling is kundalini I'm here to find out actually.
But I'm sure that my realization/awakening is not dependent on this energy, but is something very strong that I want to understand. 🙏
