To learn history of Malaysia, Shin can start by visiting National Museum in Kuala Lumpur. Once you get a grasp of Malaysia history in general, then you can visit Malacca Museum in Malacca. Malacca once have diplomatic relation with Rukyu Kingdom from Taka hometown, Okinawa. Actually, Chonmage Japan, we Malaysian are not interested only in food content, so feel free to do a variety of contents. Just do a sincere content.

Shin San, I'm from Melaka and I can tell you that it is a historically packed state. Learn up the history of Melaka and you will know Malaysia better, I promise you.... and then depending on what you want to know more, find the right museum to visit. Melaka has hundred of museums and most of them are free ( or maybe not now). Two museums you must visit though are the "Melaka Sultanate Palace Museum" (Istana Kesultanan Melaka) and the "Maritime Museum" (Muzium Samudera). You will learn a lot. Good luck and have a safe journey.

There few different version of soups in Malaysia. That one you just tried is Mamak (indian) style I think. Mamak sytle leans towards using more spices and herb and flavour is quite strong, suitable for those love spices. But for me, The authentic soup Urat should you try is Malay East Cost (Pantai Timur) Style soups because they are expert in cooking beef-based soups. This kind of style will offer you a balance flavour and significant beef taste.

Hai Sho & Shin...!!! You can actually do mix the ingredients if you want. Like if you want to try urat + lidah, you can ask for a mix of 2-3 ingredients that you wish to eat... No problem...
