Every time I see a raccoon on the side of the road, I'm gonna see wasted dollar signs now. You cleaned up on raccoons this year! Sorry it was lower than last year.

Ya, prices weren't to good. I did alright on my Fisher, Marten, Ermine, and Otter. I was happy with the prices on those Critters.

I have a friend that traps up here, and he was saying the same about the prices he was getting, so his wife started making hats, mittens, etc., with them, and he was saying he is doing much better with them selling on eBay and other marketplaces

No sir the market is not getting any better. Guys like us who already have a bunch of equipment will keep doing it for the love of outside but new trappers that have to buy all new equipment will be hurting, or they just won't trap. Thanks for the video take care.

Hey Coffey. I don’t know much about trapping , but it’s an art that has to be kept alive.
Hope the prices rise for the fur soon.
Maybe you can start a patreon account or start a membership on YT where you can make exclusive videos and tips on trapping that people can join for a nominal amount.

Wow you’re rich 🤑 lol man I’ll tell you I’m glad I’m not in it for the money 💵 but that’s the reason I started looking into other avenues with my furs and bones etc. good luck and don’t get discouraged if you’re like me you have a passion for trapping and I look at it as I’m still having fun even though it’s costing me money but lots of other sports costs money too such as hunting fishing etc. tight chains ⛓️ brother

Sorry Dave about the sale results and trapping is something to do for the love and the time outdoors because there is no money in it. Maybe prices will get better as some stop trapping due to the prices.

My last year Trapping at auction that only offer me 25 cent for my 3x raccoon and they didn't sell and it would have been a 13 percent for the th to sell them
That was my last year of Trapping hear in Ohio
There not very many fur buyer left.
