When they met, Six was being held hostage by the hunter, Mono saved her, that's what you think right? But Six would've been safer there, as after Mono saved her, he put her life in danger so many times! Her life would've been spared or ended quicker if Mono just left her there. This is why once he broke her music box she snapped and dropped him into te void. Why this theory makes it sound like Six is the villain is cause.. she is. When she dropped him, she stared straight at him, she wanted him to know she was gonna drop him and not think twice. The way she pulled her arm back but kept watching him fall, imagine that from Monos view, it must've been really terrifying.
Personally, I think Six's betrayal made sense. The person who they were travelling with and cared for turns out to be the man who wanted them dead and kidnapped children. Six had never seen Mono's face until the end of the game and when they saw the resemblance between their friend and the one who hurt hundreds to millions of people.... They thought that by leaving Mono there they would stop the cycle, not knowing they only continued it. And either way, if Six saved Mono, their hunger would have gotten the best of them now that her music box, the one thing that kept her in control, was destroyed, Six would have eaten Mono. Then while Six was suffering, they saw a flier for a buffet. So they went there to satiate their hunger, not known to them that they were going to be put in the same environment she just escaped from, then got trapped in the boat where she was fated to become The Lady. And the cycle continues.
Well that’s just a fan thing the creators said that they didn’t have a real reason to why 6 dropped mono but no I know the hunger is real not denying that
the real reason why six dropped mono or i think is because, when she was monster six and became human she looked at mono for a bit, and she noticed he looks like the younger version of the thin man, also her music box was the only thing precious to her, she was like the viewers, but she wants something else precious other then the tvs, but when mono destroy her only precious thing in this manipulated world, she was manipulated by the signal tower, and became the monster we all know like in 2020, plus her soul/emotions can't control itself, this also makes sense why six dropped mono, she felt sad for all the things she lost,she was half angry half sad,she couldn't control herself, plus the shadow hunger makes it harder to control her own body so she had to drop mono she thought if she dropped him he wouldn't become the thin man,plus he couldn't die by her hunger, so that's it folks its a theory but A GAME THEORY, thanks for reading

Before l start my theory thx to meh big bro for da theory My theory: When six turned into a monster she forgot everything so when she turned back to normal she didn’t now who mono was that is why she dropped him but the real question is...the thin man is mono right?but then that wouldn’t make sense...cuz mono saved six multiple times besides when you look at the comics of little nightmares 2 you can see that mono was running from the thin man and the thin man was trying to attack him but why?why would thin man try and hurt his past self?cuz (spoiler alert)in the end of the game mono grow’s up to be the thin man...but in the comics you see that the thin man is chasing mono perhaps trying attack am guessing besides in the game as well he is also trying to capture you besides why would thin (man mono’ future self)turn her into a monster when he nows that will remove her memory and that will be the cause of the loop?...so that leads me to my question... Who is the thin man?
The Thin Man was confirmed at the end of the game to be Mono. There's no doubting it. We get to watch Mono age as he sits in that room with no way out.. until his past-self freed him, when Six was unable to stop Mono from reaching the end of the corridor. The Thin Man would obviously know what Mono would do, or what would happen. He went back to try and stop Mono and Six, in order to prevent himself from becoming the Thin Man. He took Six, but knew Mono would try to get her back. So he had to stop Mono from reaching the tower and getting to Six at all costs. Even if it meant them both dying, it would be better than spending decades locked up. Side note, there's a possibility the Signal Tower corrupted both Six and the Thin Man, as it did with the residents of Pale City. Every time Mono goes through the story it's new to him. Because it's a loop. And each time, the Thin Man tries to stop it. It'll never end. Who knows how many times Mono had been through this by the time we played the game. Kinda genius in a way, since the game can also still be called a sequel. The theory I personally find to make the most sense: Mono threw his bag away during his fight with the Thin Man. Six was able to see Mono's face and find resemblance to the Thin Man. Hoping to prevent Mono's demise, she dropped him.. unknowingly beginning the cycle.
