Stephen Wilson Jr. is a singer/songwriter from rural Southern Indiana. Self-described as “Death Cab For Country,” Stephen Wilson Jr. draws upon indie rock, grunge and country to create a distinct sound that is influenced by artists as diverse as The National, Willie Nelson, John Mellencamp and Nirvana.
Wilson went on to self-release several songs of his own including, "the devil", "Year To Be Young 1994", "The Beginning", "Holler From The Holler" - which won 6 independent film festival awards for its accompanying music video - and "Billy", which caught the attention of Billboard who featured the single in its ‘Makin’ Tracks’ column. Wilson went on to tour the US and Europe with acts like Brothers Osborne, Midland, and Cadillac Three developing a global base of music fans enamored by his emotive performance, skilled guitar prowess, and powerful vocals. - เพลง

Chris, our venue holds incredible energy and our sound is top drawer. Guest can watch from 8 feet away and clearly heard every note and word.

Just discovered this man and his talent today! Incredible songwriting. I’m honored to be on your bandwagon, Stephen.
I discovered John Prine riding out to the rig at 4:30 in the morning on a cold Oklahoma morning when my Driller popped the John Prine 8 track in the player. 1979-20 years old, Derrick Hand.
I discovered Stephen Foster, Jr. driving to a rig in Oklahoma. 2024, 64 years old; Petroleum Landman. Two of the greatest songwriters of all time. I am so glad I discovered this young man. I look forward to seeing him in OK City in person in September, 2024.

Stumbled upon Cuckoo on social media a couple weeks ago an finally gave son of dad a listen a couple days ago and now i just cant get enough! Hoping i dont have to wait too long for dates in CT or Western Mass!
Yeh I did the same, stumbled on 1994 I think, had son of dad on repeat for a few days now and I'm blown away. I'm in Australia, hoping so hard he might find his way down here one day

He is such an incredible songwriter with an amazingly powerful voice. I am blown away at his lyrics every time I listen.
Wish I could have been there, just discovering him.
He and I are about the same age and all the things he talks about in his music and even when he is talking about how “Stand By Me” and the Stephen King Movie always freaked him out . My parents wouldn’t let me watch it to start with and finally after a year or so did and somehow it made the film and everything about it kinda darker and heavier than it probably was. I amplified it in my head I guess.
I discovered SW jr a month or two ago, and I've playing his album on repeat since then. I'm already a fan all the way down in South Africa. The raw power of the music and the hard hitting lyrics are timeless and something that is not heard anywhere else. Thank you @Grinder House Coffee Shop, LLC for posting this performance on TH-cam. I feel privileged to even just watch the show here. It feels like I was there in person from half way on the other side of the world.

I found you on tick tock I believe. To say being blown away was an understatement. I immediately started streaming your channel on Pandora and bought the Vinyl version of your album. I think you are the bomb Sir!! Eccentric like me and very talented unlike me. Please don't change a thing and stay true to yourself because you're going to have people pulling you in different directions. I don't envy your notoriety but do envy your skills. Thanks for giving us this part of your life and please get to know Jesus if you don't know him yet. PS I can understand why your steel player is your best Buddy. He's very talented too!!

I stumbled upon Stephen Wilson Jr. about three weeks ago and all I can say is…WOW!!! What an artist! I don’t know why, but I just have this feeling like his music is what the world needs right now other than believing in Jesus Christ (1 COR 15:1-4). His cover of “Stand by Me” is what we need to do now regardless of our differences.

I once owned a place called Grindhouse Coffee & Tea Co.
We had brews daily 40 to choose from, 50 loose leaf teas, 40 grilled sandwiches with fresh baked bread.
And, live music.
Unfortunately, complications with the owner of the building compelled me to not renew my lease. It all worked out though. But, that's another story.

I’ve been following Stephen since he was lead guitar for a band called AutoVaughn. He was probably in his mid to late 20’s back then. He had a mint green Fender Stratocaster with duct tape holding the guitar strap on. I asked him why he had tape on such a nice guitar and he said his strap broke in a show so he taped it and liked how it felt so he kept it that way.
Just saw him in a small night club in New York venue capacity 190 people show was insane
