I bought a 2018 Polo gti. Love it. In red...And it actually does not feel like a small car to me... Actually bought the car after watching this review. Good job Thomas.
First off, the old mic wasn't that bad, but this new one you use is most definitely a lot better with crystal clear sound. As usual, the quality of your video is a 10+, as I view on my 15" MacBook. Great review of the GTI. Love the engineering.
Thanks for a very comprehensive review. I'm looking to change car in 2018, and this fits very well with me as I'm right in the middle of a mid-life crisis. If I get the polo GTI people will think that I'm not too mad. Thanks again 👍
Another great review! Really appreciate the depth of information given and quality of video production/editing. Thinking about getting this car. Watched review twice.
10/10 for Polo GTI, 11/10 for the review, 12/10 for the Thomas and Autogefuhl crew. Shoutout to AJ! I'm ordering mine on Friday hopefully. Thomas, are there some extras which you would recommend are worth it? Thank you so much for your fantastic, in-depth, structured and well made review. I think out of the 41k views, about 10% of those are mine! :-P Merry Xmas from Denmark!
I really like it. Something very appealing about small, practical cars with 200hp. I like the design even though it’s fairly plain. But I would prefer the white exterior with the red stripe rather than red on red. The interior is great too. I always like the ones that dare to be colourful.
Wow for standard exhaust it sounds great. Really love the new Polo, thing is a massive improvement over the previous versions and brings it closer to the golf.
Ordered one last week and quoted June delivery at earliest. None available to test drive so taken a bit of a chance. Gone with 18 inch wheels and limestone grey colour. Really looking forward to owning my first GTI.
I liked the understated looks - classic GTI like the Golfs! Did Katharina get a go round the race track? Quite like grab handles. 39:38 - your wife adjusts her heated seat control! Great hairpins at the end of video. Autogefuhl Laps: I got 1:56 in Polo and 148 max on straight; and 1:44 for Golf R with 166 max on straight (I notice since April, they've changed the concrete wall and start 'hut' on the start straight). Many thanks Thomas, great Review.
I enjoy driving at Circuit Mallorca, Llucmajor, it is quite a fun circuit, i like the track, and usually better weather than Knockhill!!! (PS - I like Knockhill too!).
This Moderator is quicker around the track so it seems, not so much slower than the Golf R, especially in the corners (19:12 circuit) th-cam.com/video/cBfeD8KNKes/w-d-xo.html .
Hi Paul - yes, but at 22:48 Thomas challenged us with: "If you're really a true Autogefuhl fan...!" I am. So we like Thomas's smooth driving and commentary. We're just timing Thomas's laps. Not racing anyone! By the way, congrats on your choice - your new black Polo GTI 6-spd DSG, on order. Nice. Sorry you have to wait so long.
Hi Gordon, I'm a true Autogefühl fan too (Thomas, Ich bin auch ein treuer Fan, wollte nur auch ein Kollege zeigen der dort Rum brettert und dein Mikro ist super). Who knows, maybe we get a cold winter, I'm not keen about that because of the salt on the streets. Bad for the alloy rims and engine parts. I can make an GTI test drive within the next weeks when it arrives in The Netherlands and then the long wait begins. One positive thing about the long wait, the Seat workers will be Polo experts when my GTI is to be produced ;-).
Great job Thomas; keep up the strong work at Autogefühl! I really enjoy the the depth and style of your reviews. In fact, your review of the mk7 Golf GTI aided my decision to purchase one; absoloutely love it. Cheers!
very good and honest review of the New VW Polo GTI, I personally like it,you gave me more than enough information to consider this as a purchase....well done ...
you somehow managed to set the camera to reduce flicker no other channel does that leave it to autogefuehle to find a solution no other channel would know where to begin to find great review guys
I decided beforehand, but you really helped on feeling good about this decision, great review. I just bought my first new car, a brand new Polo GTI 2020 with every piece of extra equipment possible, getting it this Tuesday, thank you, keep up the good work. Explaining the quality of the microphone.. I loved it :D
Hi Thomas, Thank you for such an amazing review! I actually like the most watching a really good English fluent review from a German mind set. I was seeking such review and very glad that I found you! I'm quite new for new generation cars and seeing you reviewed quite a lot of cars with top quality comments. I'm still not sure but I will go for a Polo (especially after this review) but not sure I'm a GTI person. :) Anyway, Thanks a lot. I wish you keep continue doing amazing reviews(with your old style very crisp clean microphone :)) I will be following your reviews just because I like to listen the way you see the cars :) Greetings from Munich!
It’s too bad this vehicle isn’t available in Canada because your review is quite complimentary! Perhaps it can’t be brought into the country at an affordable price point! Good job Thomas!!
I am jealous of you! Because I am ordering one on Friday, and I have no chance of testing it. I just trust my instinct and reviews. Sometimes you just gotta take a risk ;)
Excellent review Thomas! My wife is thinking about getting a smaller car to get around in the local area and city centre, but still be able to go on longer journeys. I had a MK IV Polo a few years ago and it lasted me 10 years! Great little car! I like that the Polo is a little bigger now, making it closer in practicality to that of a Golf, but is cost effective and the GTI also gives you that sportier drive. As an extra point, the personalisation features that VW are now providing in their vehicles really give them a little extra character. I agree with you about the front wheel drive and going around winding roads/tight corners, but that is what a Golf R is for 😁
Hi, such a very great review, as always ! I think your remember me Thomas, we speaked about the DSG version on the previous video. Like you said, for cost saving, we don't have handles anymore inside, no soft plastic, no 7 speeds DSG, no electric park brake... If we want there stuffs, we have to buy the golf. I like this car and i want to buy it ( your fault now), but i have few questions for you : How many liters you can put in the tank ? And how much km has your polo ? You speak about the fuel comsuption, maybe too high for this car, but did you remember the comsuption for the "old" GTI ? For exemple with my polo 5 1.2 TSI i use between 5 and 6l/100km in general... I think 7-8l/100 for a GTI is not too bad. Don't stop making review, Autogefühl is the best channel i ever seen for cars, you made me dream for almost 1h with this video.
A complete reprogramming of the ECU. 257 Hp (195 Hp stock) at 5322 RPM and 427 nM (318 nM stock) of torque at 2774 RPM. This was measured at 37 degrees Celsius and 65% humidity at sea level (1011 millibars). After the tune the car is a beast. The tune costs 1000Euro with the best tuner. Everyday driving is comfy, but when u step on it - it rips through the gears. MPG is about the same with an average of 6.7 L/ 100 KM for long term driving (average of the last 3 fuel ups). This is equivalent to around 14/15 km /L on octane 95 (i now run it on octane 100 )
Congratulations on yet another great review of a great looking car, it’s stylish, elegant, and classy and doesn’t shout “boy racer”. I really think VW have got it right with the whole range of Polos. I do think the VW engineers are being a bit conservative with the truth. You said the 6 speed DSG is being used because it is better able to handle the torque. They are talking rubbish ! The Golf GTI makes 350NM with a 6 speed. The GOLF GTI Performance makes around 400NM and they use the 7speed. I think the Polo GTI with a 7 speed would give it performance too close to the Golf GTI. They are just trying to come up with a mechanical reason To justify their marketing decision. Also, I don’t know if it’s the same for other markets, but here in the UK, standard equipment is a bit sparse for a “top of the range car” To get all the things you would expect, you have to get the GTI+ and that will probably cost another £1000 - £1500 when they announce the prices. Keep up the fantastic work.
Yes it's Scottish and it reminds me of Braveheart somehow. That's why I love it. I'm ordering mine with it cos it screams GTI and reminds me of the Scots! In Denmark it's called "Titan black" which made me sad :(
Just found you ! My first video of yours, VERY NICE, the BIGmike sounds great, you can tell. I wish they would bring the polo gti to the states. I'm ready to buy a mk 7.5 se or autobahn dsg in new green, or white silver metallic, , maybe even straight white if these new colors don't grow on me . Actually I would prefer silver reflex , NLA?? Depending on the deal. Wish I could wait for mk 8. Love your clarity and now I'll view your library. Thanks Smitty
Thank you for the review Thomas, excellent. I am looking to downsize, due to retiring from work and thinking of selling my manual MK7 Golf GTi and this would be perfect car for me, I also need an auto as my wife, due to an accident can no longer operate a manual. She currently has a MK5 Polo highline and loves it. Best of both worlds with the new POLO GTI in my opinion.
Of course my favorite Polo is the GTI with 200hp. Maybe the new Polo gets the best GTI because this car is very compact. Now the Polo GTI has the 2.0TSI who has a lot of potential for tuning or variants with more HP directly from VW! The biggest progress of the new VW Polo are the design of the front and of the interior.😍 Furthermore I really enjoy the infotainment and assistant system options. I would always choose the DSG! Especially at higher speeds the DSG 6 is better than the new 7 speed DSG because the spreading of the different gears isn`t that big ! ;) Well done Autogefühl 👏
Really enjoying the reviews with Thomas. I was a bit surpriced to see no handlesin roof side, also disapointed no electric Brake, no adjustable cupholders also and no soft plastic in the GTI. The T-Roc does have the eletric brake though, so why not the GTI atleast. Have ordered one though in reef blue. I was not clear in your video, but can you adjust the exhaust sound in the driverprofile and if so what how was the change -. more loud or? And at last are there any ambient light in the door handles or any where else in the car?
Autogefüh Excellent in depth review. Sadly, VWoA will NOT bring the Polo to the USA in any form! This would be my choice if I wanted a modern VW in GTI form, the Modern current Golf is to far removed from the original formula, too big, too complex, too heavy, and too expensive.
I am buying one of these shortly, and with the 2.0l engine and six speed wet DSG its tempting to tune it with say a 10% increase in HP and Torque. What variant of DSG is it, what is the torque limit? Some say 350NM, some suggest higher?
Hi, Can I ask why is the dsg farts no longer the same as the previous vw polo 1.8 gti or from a golf gti? Is there a way of making it sound the same as the models I mentioned?
Thomas: Maybe you can have a info screen at the beginning with some key data about the car such as price, hp, consumption etc. otherwise excellent videos.
Thomas, great review!! Question: How many rpms is the engine running on 6th gear at 120 kph? Trying to judge how good of a quite cruiser the car is before I purchase. I am unable to find this information anywhere. Thank you,
If I was looking for a cruiser that is the same price as the Polo GTI, i’d go for a used skoda superb 2016-2018. But for city cars and occasional track use, the polo is fun.
The new Polo is a great car as the original review already stated, but the standard equipment even in the highest trimlevel is a bit of a letdown. I mean come on VW, halogen lights and no automatic climate control even in the GTI version of a new car in 2017?
Thank you for a very comprehensive and clear report Thomas. I live in South Africa, where VW is still a respected brand. The Polo & Polo Vivo (old shape) are top sellers in our market. I am a Golf GTI driver & have had many iterations of the model. To answer your question re the low grade interior plastics; I am very disappointed. In fact, the change makes me begin to look elsewhere. The quality interior has always been one of the reasons for continuing to buy Volkswagens. Apparently, the Golf 8 has gone the same way. I can understand the need to cut costs in the current economic climate but surely there are other options? The new Audi A1 is in the same category. It's interior has also been severely down graded. Do you have any comment on this move? Thanks again, Rudyard Harrison.
Thanks for the video Thomas, I've ordered my GTI a month ago but have to wait till 15 th of March to get it. Upside, it's maybe better for the wheels because of the winter conditions ahead. I didn't order the Beats woofer because of the decreased space (45 L) in the boot. Can you tell how it sounds anyway? And what about the tiny 40 L fuel tank or is it actually bigger in real life? With a realistic 8 L fuel consumption it would mean that you have to stop with a nearly empty fuel tank after a mere 450 km or so!
Unlike I understand in Germany, the prices in Holland are known since August 1. In Holland the basic GTI costs (without tax etc.) € 18.111. Unlucky for us in Holland, we have to pay 21% tax PLUS € 6.861 "fun" tax and that makes a total of € 28.775 for a basic GTI. The GTI will not be available before January 1 so an extra of 1,75% will be added to the price already! In total my GTI - with all the possible extras in the list - cost € 38.110. I got a 8% bonus off this price so I have to pay € 35.485 (everything included) when it arrives march 15.
I thought so and that's a pitty, the old 6C GTI had a smaller 1,8 L engine but a bigger 45 L gas tank. I think this car will not be cheaper in gas consumption.
Thank you very much for this review I live in Athens Greece and I was ready to order an Abarth 595c turismo but I changed my mind for the polo gti Now I have to wait until February to order it! Can you please tell me your opinion between these 2 cars?
You delete an order on the Abarth to buy a Polo? Serious? Did you drive an Abarth? This cars a totally incomparable. The Abarth will let you smile, this Polo will just bring you from A to B. You decide what you want.
My first car was a lowered Golf I GTI (BBS/Koni) in 1976 and since 1984 I drive a lowered Scirocco GTX (1,8 L K-Jetronic, no Cat)(Intrax shocks). I never had problems in 260.000 km so for me once a Volkswagen, always a Volkswagen! I hope I will not be disappointed by the new technology, do you have a bad experience?
There was a manual version of it, but due to the fact, that the DSG was prefered over the manual and only a few manuals were sold it was taken out and only the DSG version remains.
Great detailed review, Thomas! I have a Polo 5 with 1.2 TSi now, and I would be really interested if this new Polo came as GTD, as the Golf, with a diesel engine with about 120-160 HP. I love much low-mid rpm torque and low consumption at the same time! Such a version would be ideal for me.
Autogefühl : Maybe, if they could see demand for it later... But a diesel with more than 100 HP would be possible, I hope. Otherwise I would have to engine-optimise it. What I would like to have in my Polo today is 6 gears, a coolant temperature measurement in dashboard and 110 HP.
Autogefuhl, are you going to get hold of an i30n to test? Really interested in a comparison bearing in mind the budgets aren't hugely different when you top spec a polo GTI. And seeing as the Polo is now the biggest polo they've ever made. Thanks for the detailed videos guys.
6.7 is probably conservative considering the car has 200hp and 320nm. The last gen car with the 1.4L twincharger was running at that sort of 0-100 time already.
I would say conservative and 6,7 secs or maybe even less is attainable with DSG, and dry surface and decent tyres. With a tune and upgraded tyres, I would think 6,0 secs is easily attainable.
Mine runs 6 flats, however only using launch control. Vw don’t advertise this time as you said, Becuase it would ruin the sales of the Golf GTI. With some new tyres and maybe new cold air intake I reckon you’d probably get a 5.7. Quicker than the golf 👍🏽
Nice review as usual. One more detail. You didn't talk about the big uncovered part of the rear doors that can be seen from the inside of the car. That looks cheap and unfinished. Didn't expect that from a car like this. The older Polo looked better finished inside in these little details. Looks like the new one has a little less interior quality, but more tech.
Yes watched all, and saw it seemed ok, but as a comparison with a 6 speed manual, you can only say from the drive. Would you buy DSG or manual if the choice is there in the future?
Very good review. Two comments. 1. The lack of grab handles inside above the doors is a real pity, they could have left just one in the back behind the driver. I often use it to hang my coat, seriously. 2. Why no mention of brake performance on track? You did a few laps, was there any fade?
Tartan Trim 🖒 Those inner door handles mark so quickly. I wondered also about the Manual Gearbox possibility too. I dread to think how much leather seats and a sunroof would cost if thats 30,000 eu Someone had a warranty claim ditched as they had uaed to the launch control,so why have it... Another Perfect Thomas review
hi thomas, is it louder in everyday driving than the "normal" versions? i´d like something agile, swift and planted, yet not overdone harsh. pricepoint and size is fine here. had the leon sc 1.8 tsi in mind, thats a bit bigger, bit slower, bit more comfortable i guess? maybe i have to drive both.
sound insulation does not differ. The Leon is indeed a segment above, check out our Leon reviews here: th-cam.com/users/results?search_query=seat+leon+autogefuehl
The Leon with the 1.8 TSI (FR) is better in terms of comfort. The new Polo GTI sounds more agressive than the Leon FR . I think in terms of handling there is no big difference between these cars!
Thanks for the review Thomas. I have 2 questions: 1. Does the GTI boot not have the false floor? 2. How do we canvas VW to offer an alternative dash colour for the limestone grey? In the UK it only comes with the red dash - not my style at all!
Autogefühl For some reason the UK spec only comes with Limestone Grey + Velvet Red. Aargh! I’ll contact VW UK and see what they say. By false floor in the boot I meant that the other models’ boots have two floor heights. I checked yesterday and confirmed the GTI doesn’t have this benefit, due to the battery taking up the space. It’s a shame as I currently use that space to hide incidentals to keep the main boot area clear. Not a deal breaker though! Many thanks for the prompt reply!
About the dash color - in volkswagen.de configurator, there is an option called "Dekoreinlagen in Deep Iron Metallic für Instrumententafel und Türverkleidung vorn" which replaces the red color with the same dark color as the rest of the dashboard. I prefer that option above the red dashboard. So it is possible - ask your dealer.
I bought a 2018 Polo gti. Love it. In red...And it actually does not feel like a small car to me... Actually bought the car after watching this review. Good job Thomas.

To justify their marketing decision.
Also, I don’t know if it’s the same for other markets, but here in the UK, standard equipment is a bit sparse for a “top of the range car”
To get all the things you would expect, you have to get the GTI+ and that will probably cost another £1000 - £1500 when they announce the prices.
Keep up the fantastic work.
+Barry Naylor thought so too! :)
The 400Nm 7speed is a different one than the one used in 6R Polo with 1.8 250Nm engine.
the best revues, another great car Thomas, although not your blue, it looks good in red. .....and I'd like to add that also looks a nice watch!
The most German laugh ever. All joking aside though,it’s good to see you go in-depth with just about everything you’d want to know about.
Thanks keep joining us
The seat cover is called TARTAN, it’s a design from Scotland like on kilts. I’m Scottish so I love this detail.
interesting thanks, in Germany we say Karo
Autogefühl visiting Berlin soon and trying the learn the language so thanks
quite a common and ancient pattern for any region once inhabited by celtic tribes.
It's called Clark in the brochure. I like it so I ordered the car in this color, it brings back memories, my Golf I GTI had the same :-).
Yes it's Scottish and it reminds me of Braveheart somehow. That's why I love it. I'm ordering mine with it cos it screams GTI and reminds me of the Scots! In Denmark it's called "Titan black" which made me sad :(
Classy as always! Best in class, period.
This VW Polo is so beautiful.
Love it ❤
Fucking boring car
is that a spare battery in the repairing tool harness ?
no they have the battery in the rear
Just found you ! My first video of yours, VERY NICE, the BIGmike sounds great, you can tell. I wish they would bring the polo gti to the states. I'm ready to buy a mk 7.5 se or autobahn dsg in new green, or white silver metallic, , maybe even straight white if these new colors don't grow on me . Actually I would prefer silver reflex , NLA?? Depending on the deal. Wish I could wait for mk 8. Love your clarity and now I'll view your library. Thanks Smitty
glad u found us!
Nice video. I suscribe, greetings from Spain
gracias!
Best of both worlds with the new POLO GTI in my opinion.
you re welcome keep following us! :)
There is a special comparison up! GTI vs Polo GTI vs Golf GTI coming up !!
In the headlights are two lamps, the outside lamps are for low and high beam. What are the inside lamps for?
Of course my favorite Polo is the GTI with 200hp. Maybe the new Polo gets the best GTI because this car is very compact. Now the Polo GTI has the 2.0TSI who has a lot of potential for tuning or variants with more HP directly from VW! The biggest progress of the new VW Polo are the design of the front and of the interior.😍 Furthermore I really enjoy the infotainment and assistant system options. I would always choose the DSG! Especially at higher speeds the DSG 6 is better than the new 7 speed DSG because the spreading of the different gears isn`t that big ! ;) Well done Autogefühl 👏
thanks keep joining us - and happy holidays :)
Another great review. Thanks. Really enjoy your channel.
keep watching us :)
I bought one but the problem is that i can't install a JBL Basspro hub Subwoofer because of the Battery.
Or I'm wrong?
Thomas, you're very welcome here in Soller, please call me when you come back. I love your reviews, specially when is made in my town, haha. Regards.
what a beautiful place!
Great review 👍
+Nicholas Bryde cheers!
Best review
great to have your support!
Thank you Thomas, quality review as always.
Will there be an R to follow ,keep your ear to the ground for us.
cheers man! I dont see any Polo R coming tbh
Superb video Autogefuhl 👍
+colnago c50 👍👍
I love how you go from a 600hp M5 to a polo GTI like what a trio, I’d love to own both but I’d settle for this pocket rocket
=)
Autogefüh
Excellent in depth review. Sadly, VWoA will NOT bring the Polo to the USA in any form!
This would be my choice if I wanted a modern VW in GTI form, the Modern current Golf is to far removed from the original formula, too big, too complex, too heavy, and too expensive.
thanks! I hope they ll listen one day to change the model lineup
Another great video guys, keep it up
thanks, keep supporting us!
Great review, Thomas. Been waiting for this review for some time. Exciting little car, pity it does not come as a three door👍🏼
+ian taf thank you so much, we really appreciate this :)
Three doors may(?) look better, but five doors are so much better when parking, & a Polo is going to be used for shopping........
Great review. Really enjoyed it.
Thanks and keep supporting us :)
Maybe due to emission update
Thomas: Maybe you can have a info screen at the beginning with some key data about the car such as price, hp, consumption etc. otherwise excellent videos.
thanks ! We ll talk about it
Excellent and informative review.
I've ordered a GTI+. Hoping for an August delivery.
cool, enjoy :)
Another great review sir.
+scott marshall 👌
Cheers, again really good vid, thanks
very understated, i like it a lot
Thanks!
Rudyard Harrison But then again, which manufacturer hasnt done the Same in recent years?
Thanks for the video Thomas, I've ordered my GTI a month ago but have to wait till 15 th of March to get it. Upside, it's maybe better for the wheels because of the winter conditions ahead. I didn't order the Beats woofer because of the decreased space (45 L) in the boot. Can you tell how it sounds anyway? And what about the tiny 40 L fuel tank or is it actually bigger in real life? With a realistic 8 L fuel consumption it would mean that you have to stop with a nearly empty fuel tank after a mere 450 km or so!
pauljansen2002 how much did u pay?
thanks and look forward to it!
I see no other tank than 40 l
Thank you very much for this review
I live in Athens Greece and I was ready to order an Abarth 595c turismo but I changed my mind for the polo gti
Now I have to wait until February to order it!
Can you please tell me your opinion between these 2 cars?
You delete an order on the Abarth to buy a Polo? Serious? Did you drive an Abarth? This cars a totally incomparable. The Abarth will let you smile, this Polo will just bring you from A to B. You decide what you want.
+Vasilis Pagonas imho: good decision :)
Better a car from A to B than a car from A to nowhere :-).
pauljansen2002 if that is important to you, you better don't buy a VAG car.
I hope I will not be disappointed by the new technology, do you have a bad experience?
why did you do a 0-100km like you did with previous polo gti ??
Is there any news on the manual version? I have yet to see any videos on it despite most reviews saying one is coming, a year later and still nothing
There was a manual version of it, but due to the fact, that the DSG was prefered over the manual and only a few manuals were sold it was taken out and only the DSG version remains.
a very nice small powerful car which reminds me of my Golf GTI 1 I once had.
Me too (Golf GTI 1 in 1978). That's why I ordered this car, a new Golf is way too big :-(. I like the Clark interior, brings back good memories :-)).
+Tommy S it surely wont. Thanks m8!
Thanks for the detailed videos guys.
yeah we ll try to get one!
Like and suscribed,well done 👍
thanks and welcome !!
very good review )
cheers!
relatively quick 0-100, is 6.7s unrealistic or conservative claim so that it won't hurt the golf gti's sales
Well this new Polo Gti is a bit heavier than the previous.
What this tune @ 1.20 ?????? Driving me crazy.
Nice review as usual. One more detail. You didn't talk about the big uncovered part of the rear doors that can be seen from the inside of the car. That looks cheap and unfinished. Didn't expect that from a car like this. The older Polo looked better finished inside in these little details. Looks like the new one has a little less interior quality, but more tech.
thanks for this comment, I didn't really remark that. Anyway good to hear that from you. what do the other viewers think?
Yes watched all, and saw it seemed ok, but as a comparison with a 6 speed manual, you can only say from the drive. Would you buy DSG or manual if the choice is there in the future?
Well I always find automatic more relaxing and sporty at the same time...
It sounds so good! But I think the back looks half as good as on the Golf GTI.
Great video, thank you.
+Stephen Amos thx! What u mean?
I've edited my comment now. The video is actually perfect, my computer had a problem.
+Stephen Amos 👍
Very good review. Two comments. 1. The lack of grab handles inside above the doors is a real pity, they could have left just one in the back behind the driver. I often use it to hang my coat, seriously. 2. Why no mention of brake performance on track? You did a few laps, was there any fade?
thanks! For a couple of laps no, but those brakes will of course overheat at some point, they are not carbon-ceramic :)
what only 215/40 R18 for a GTI ?? My Golf Cabrio has wider tiers and it's only a 1.4 TSI (150HP) ( running on 225/50 R17)
As a passenger I am used to holding onto the grab handles, esp on twisty roads.
did you test the beats sound system? how is it compared to premium soundsystmes like burmester etc?
Ok for a small car but not comparable
awesome video! one of the first to review the polo gti! nice!
i have a question, those fog lights at the bottom of the car, are they yellow or led?
Normal halogen bulbs just like the turning signals at the rear. The rest is led when you want it as an extra.
thanks and greetings!
Is there a manual version? Or just dsg?
If there is no manual gear then I am not interested.
all information in the review!
Autogefühl That's not a review, it is more like a documentary with alot of information... Keep up the great work, you are doing well.
Perfect car perfect video!
+DjoxiN95 👌🎬
Tartan Trim 🖒
Those inner door handles mark so quickly.
I wondered also about the Manual Gearbox possibility too.
I dread to think how much leather seats and a sunroof would cost if thats 30,000 eu
Someone had a warranty claim ditched as they had uaed to the launch control,so why have it...
Another Perfect Thomas review
thanks !!
Thomas, are you sure that there is an alternative to the red dashboard? I am about to order and they told me this is not optional ....
Should be grey available. Maybe not in every market?
Indeed in Germany it is "Dekoreinlagen in Deep Iron Metallic für Instrumententafel und Türverkleidung vorn". Not in Romania, unfortunatelly ...
hi thomas, is it louder in everyday driving than the "normal" versions? i´d like something agile, swift and planted, yet not overdone harsh. pricepoint and size is fine here. had the leon sc 1.8 tsi in mind, thats a bit bigger, bit slower, bit more comfortable i guess? maybe i have to drive both.
sound insulation does not differ.
I have 2 questions:
1. Does the GTI boot not have the false floor?
2. How do we canvas VW to offer an alternative dash colour for the limestone grey? In the UK it only comes with the red dash - not my style at all!
Hm in Germany you can pick red or grey, it should be possible somehow if you pressure your dealer.
What u mean by false floor ?
Good review. I am waiting for the Hyundai i30N with DSG how is the Polo GTI compared the i30N? Should I consider the Polo?
Will deliver u the i30n as well
