    I love Edmund Obilo's interviewing style. He asks ?s based on prior knowledge & deep research on the interviewees & subject matters. 90% of mainstream journalists DON'T devote such time to research. They're more interested in massaging the ego of their interviewees & pander to all kinds of narrow interests. Obilo is different & serious!

      To be honest with you. We don’t have election in Nigeria and also the west is part of Nigeria demise. Tinubu is going to win again because it’s already programmed and even his son might become the next governor of Lagos state. The election in Nigeria is programmed by APC now and after Tinubu 2nd term in office, the next election would be Shettima because Nigerian practice authoritarian politics.

The country has been practicing authoritarian leadership since the APC emerge with lack of accountability in the system.

    You have to master politics before you can achieve anything politically. I supported and wanted him to beat Tinubu in the APC primary but Tinubu was better at politics than all the candidates combined and he won. Tinubu took on Buhari head on in the primary and after winning the primary, he took on the Buhari administration in the general election when they tried to stop him winning the election. Abeokuta, Ogun state was where he showed all of them who the master was. He was very courageous. No one could have done those two things and survived it but he did.

    It is an insult to the late sage, Awo to compare him with Osinbajo. Awo was never a layback individual, he wasn't a spoon-fed man, he was a mover, initiator, strategic and futuristic thinker. All these qualities were never seen in Osinbajo.
    It was good you supported Osinbajo and your right, but to put him in the same sentence with Awo, it's a real smack of power hungry man like Ojudu. Since BAT never gave his support for Ekiti State governorship ticket against Fayemi, since then he has been waiting for opportunities to spite BAT in revenge, that was why he said, even if BAT won the primary, he will rather go back to his farm than to support him.
    All these politicians are such a bunch of deceivers, whose stock in trade are their personal agradisement. Once, other politicians outsmart them or refuse to back them, then they suddenly become good governmance crusaders. Just like El-Rufai is doing now, had it been he in PBAT government running the show, you won't hear all the attacks coming from the El-Rufais.

    • @bookread2
      @bookread2 หลายเดือนก่อน +4

      @jidebabatunde807 How do you know he would have been a better president. Well, maybe in the US or a better governor in a state like #Ekiti state.
      Have you taken the time to look at the patterns of events since 1999, especially as related to the person of president in NG.
      The thing is this, Osinbajo is an administrator without any political wight or class. So, without the backing of a political weight like Tinubu, he might not be able to succeed.
      To be a successful president in NG, you must have both administrative prowess and political might. Political might is inevitable because of other politicians you have contend and/or deal with whilst running your government. Osinbajo doesn't have this.
      President OBJ. was able to achieve what he achieved because of this. Late President Yar'Adua, too, within that shortest period because he had the backing of OBJ. President GEJ didn't because he didn't have the backing of OBJ.
      So, without the backing of BAT, Osinbajo won't achieve much.
      Now, after PBAT tenure, this trajectory may not be needed after all. Because he's going to ensure that those political titans are forever silenced, thereby allowing any serious candidates that win the presidential election can successfully run the show without being threatened by political gladiators.

      Of cos, Oshinbajo is milllion years ahead of Tinubu. He's a learned lawyer. Tinubu has no classmates to prove he attended any school & no one truly knows how old he is. Of cos ppl like Oshinbajo will not be allowed to lead Nigeria, cos the process of leadership in Nigeria has been hijacked by drug-dealers, criminals, money-launderers & desperadoes; all qualities perfectly-mixed in Tinubu.
