暑い🥵居間は何時も30度超え、でも昼間はクーラーは付けない😂
ただっ広い純和風の家の天井は高く、台所と居間が続く部屋で一人エアコンは電気代を気にしてつけられません…
夕食時から寝るまでと、寝室はエアコン無しでは過ごせません😂
年金生活の貧乏暮らしは大変😰
buruko さんも外仕事、ご無理なさらず、この夏を元気で乗り切りましょう

Hello Buruko-san, we have monsoon here in full swing.. haven't seen sun for last 4 or 5 days. so, i am happy that you are enjoying your summer days. You are enjoying bitter gourd is a surprise for me.. by the way, bitter gourd is my family's one of the favourite vegetable. your recipe is new for me.. i am looking forward to make is with sprouts when i will grow next batch of sprouts.

☔️ Bitter gourd champuru is a local dish from Okinawa Prefecture, Japan. Can we get a lot of bitter melon in India? It is not often harvested in Hokkaido.

we are at middle of the monsoon season here.. facing less troubles compare to most of the people living in my city as we are living in safe area.
we have two season for sowing bitter gourd but due to diversity of weather in our country, they are available throughout the year. people also dry & store to use in need. i used to take bitter gourd dishes with unleavened bread called 'phulka' in my lunchbox when i was in college & my friends finished it in no time. we have a community of bengali people who speak bengali language & from bengal region. they start their meal by eating something bitter & bitter gourd is important ingredient for those dishes. they believe that bitter can cleanse their tounge, so thay can enjoy other flavours better. we have many varieties of bitter gourd available here & variety of dishes too. I cherish almost every vegetable & fruit, which i have encountered so far but bitter gourd has a special place in my life.
