Ive been following Dave since the Nirvana years, I've met the entire FF band and spent a significant amount of time (outside!) with them before a concert. It was one of the greatest feelings and highs I've ever had. Their music got me through so many difficult phases in life and their personalities are genuine. What you see in interviews is who they are in person. Taylor in particular was unbelievably sweet and took real interest in talking to me and gave me multiple hugs. I have their signatures and pictures with them that I will keep and treasure forever. When Taylor died I felt like the band should stop. I kind of resented that he was replaced so quickly and even the reunion tours seemed insensitive. With Dave's mother also passing in such a short time, it's hard for me to imagine Dave not self-destructing in some way. He went big. Yes, it's disappointing behavior, but I do commend Dave though for straight up admitting the affair and the birth of the baby and him vowing to take care of the baby.
