  • Hey Everyone! We took a family cruise totaling 9 of us all leaving from Galveston on Royal Caribbean Liberty of the Seas and sailing to Roatan, Costa Maya, and Cozumel. I did a lot of research leading up to the trip and the one thing I couldn't find was a good detailed tour of the cabin we would be staying in so I decided to do my own cabin tour. We were cruising with our 2 year old son for the first time and I was about 5 months pregnant so I wanted to make sure we were prepared for everything.
    Here are some products that I used on our cruise:
    Magnetic Hooks: amzn.to/309wajn
    USB Hub: amzn.to/3cCkAQf
    Lanyard key holder: amzn.to/2MAkLRv
    Sailor swimsuit: amzn.to/3cGpUC5

    Thank you for the tip about making a toddler sleeping area!

    Awesome video! I just booked this cabin earlier today. I showed my kids the balcony and they screamed with excitement!!

      Yes. We were just talking about this cabin earlier today. It was the best room ever! We are going on another cruise next month and I will be doing another cabin tour on the Allure of the Seas.

    4:08 I know this is several months late but hopefully your family will be going on more cruises in the future. To use the HDMI on the TV you just need your own universal remote and you'll be able to change the inputs.

      A lot of TVs can be switched using the physical power button, which is on the back and does a lot more than just on/off.

    Love what you did with the couch brilliant idea. Do you request the mattress topper right when you get on board or prior to the cruise?

    • @NoelKetay
      @NoelKetay  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I requested the topper when I got on the ship. But it turned out that the person before me had already requested it so it was already on our bed.

    Do you think a seven-year-old child would fit on that smaller couch?

      That is what I would like to know. I have a 7 year old as well and that bunk bed is not what we want to use.

      I just got off mariner of the seas in a similar room my seven year old was too big for the loveseat in this particular room.

    Did you bring the mattress topper or did you request it?

    So cool! Was that room noisy at all, or maybe more bumpy of a ride since it was in the back?

    • @NoelKetay
      @NoelKetay  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Not at all. It was only loud if the sliding door was open. But it’s still well worth having a larger balcony. It was not bumpier then any other location on the ship but if you have high seas then it might be a little more motion then if you were mid ship.

      @@NoelKetay Thanks, our other worry is that it is a hike to get to anything, but the balcony size is hard to pass up of this cabin is available I suppose :)

    • @NoelKetay
      @NoelKetay  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes. It was a schlep back to the room but I didn’t mind. I needed to talk off all the good food I ate.

    • @NoelKetay
      @NoelKetay  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      We didn’t bring a mattress topper. We just requested it when we got there. But before I requested it I checked the bed and there was already one on the bed so the person before us must have requested it.

      @@NoelKetay thank you! I love how you set up the room; especially for your toddler! My kids are all college age but I’m sure that was a great space for your kiddo!! Thanks again!

      @@rebeccahoffman3188 Thank you. I put a lot of thought and prep into setting up the room since it was our first time cruising with our little one. I was pregnant during that video and I can’t wait to go on another cruise now that we have two little boys.

      @@NoelKetay That’s awesome! I would have loved to take our kids but we had 5; 2 boys and 3 girls - my oldest son was 3 when I had quadruplets. I don’t think it would’ve been a good idea to have them all on the ship together! I’m not even sure at 19 and 22 it would be so good! 😂😂😂 Enjoy these times! You are making precious memories!
