Wires are a nightmare & the only thing that comes to mind is too lay a piece of "Rubbatex" type heavy foam on top of them so the tank or other things can't ever push them down so they smash & arc to ground. That would really be a nightmare under the gas tank but I'm sure you've thought of everything..... lol, far beit from me to 2nd guess here and this is pretty much my favorite Harley of all of them. I can't wait to see her & do show the before -n- after for us.... Yup, I do like this bike. peace
@@TheManoy66 - yeah, when I didn't hear you say anything I wasn't worried that you wouldn't catch it but for any following they might miss this important safety issue. I recently saw a young man who'd moved wires around & it started a fire under the seat. It's us guys out here that miss this type of stuff, not you Sir. You're a pro & I digg the work(s) you do for us here. peace & have a great father's day !
I'm still waiting for the tank from the painter though. Need to see for myself if the wire tuck works without the tank lift, then i'll wrap things up. But that foam thing really makes sense btw.. Will do that for sure.
