Dual booting macOS in T2 chip macbooks without proper guide could possibly brick and make macOS unusable since it will modify EFI variables and remove macOS from the boot menu. It is unrecoverable unlike without T2 chips or M1/M2 machines. Please use the T2Ubuntu guide instead of this guide.
Hey my etcher is giving me errors, something went wrong if it is a compressed image please check that the archive is not corrupted, The writer process ended uxexpededly
I encountered the same error. When I first clicked on Flash, there was a window asking for the writing permission to your USB. I clicked OK but then it gave no response and froze. After that I restarted my mac and do reinstallation of everything many times, no success. Finally, I figured out I have to enable the permission setting for balenaEtcher. That could be found from System Settings -> Security Privacy -> Privacy -> Files and Folders. You should enable the permission of balenaEtcher on Removable Volumes there. Then just restart Etcher and rerun the flash button.
