He's also what 25? Dude has a lot of room to get stronger. Plus the Polish strong men have always been more chisled than the rest, have you seen Pudzianowzki? The guy had muscle on muscle and like 15% body fat max, still won WSM 5 times

Hi Martins! The 2 fans that are featured in this video are me and my husband Paul. He's a big fan of yours, he started off doing body building went to power lifting and now does strong man. He won his first Strong man competition in August at Warwickshire. All the contestants that entered were big blokes but my husband is lean so as the smallest one there and winning was a MASSIVE accomplishment for him. He's also managed to deadlifted 240kg and weighs in at 80kg himself! If your ever in England Nottinghamshire please feel free to email me as I know my husband would Love to train with an ACTUAL strongman! Big love 😊

Watching this makes me want to see the giants come together and form teams. Shaw and Halfthor would make a badass team or Tom Stoltman and Terry Hollands.
Too strong team, only Mateusz and Martins could beat that.
I was surprised Stoltman&Stoltman didn't compete as a team. They would have been pretty difficult to beat

Strongman is no doubt the coolest and most peaceful athlete community ever.
I feel like the ego doesn't get involved much when you know you're one of the strongest men in the world, hanging around the few other men in the world who could challenge you. Not to mention it's a smaller and tighter-nit community.

@@Hhhlll7778 I mean Im one of the people who consider him the Greatest Strongman of all time. But seeing it in numbers just shows how crazy strong he was. And the fact that he didnt max out in the gym, I remember seeing an interview with him when he said that the biggest log he did in the gym was like 210 or 215. That he just switches it on in comps, Imagine his comp squat.
Samo Targos Agreed, he said himself that because he wasnt really pushed at comps by anyone he never had to even max out so we can only speculate how far could he have gone without injuries of course
@@Hhhlll7778 Same goes for Kaz and Eddie id say. If Eddie kept competing he would break the log record and improve his axle record. And as he said himself, at the 2017 WSM DL for max, he had 530 in him.

Mateusz obviously has a shot at the WSM and Arnold titles in 2020, I really hope he can get his bicep injury sorted out before then. If him and Martins are in top shape I think it will be extremely tough for the rest of the guys.
Next year I wanna see Matuesz and my second favorite strongman team up!

@@eamh2002 I had the chance to meet Shivlyakov at the Arnolds. He's crazy but in a good way, he's one of the funniest strongmen I've met and he's not above enjoying life and having a good time.

Rauno's deadlifts are unbelievable!! Even in the team lift he was going straight up on every single rep.
