Just searched up the Dinaric Alps to see if anyone posted a trip similar to this because i'm from that region. All in all good work guys, pleasant experience watching these videos keep up the good work.
Eagerly awaiting part 2 and it did not disappoint . Great editing Dave and very informative relaxed narration Rob. Loved this one ,the snakes seemed common enough pity about the wolves and bears not paying you a visit in the night !! See ya soon.
Really enjoyed that... Friday night viewing on the big screen, better than any shite on the box 😁 Part 2 did not disappoint, insight of kit was great, and Rob's chilled out armchair reflection time was ace... just a thought, a go pro body cam would be great for next installment, capturing those sketchy moments. 😉
I really am happy to see that plenty of Tourist from all around the world come and visit our Mountains. I love the first part of the video that you uploaded and also the second part. I love it how you show the nature how it is, I am humbled by these videos, also if you want someday to come again feel free to contact me since I'm a mountain guide as well, and I operate around the western Balkans and in the peaks of the balkans. Thank you for promoting our Mountains, god blesss!
@@Jackdawbushcraft I will be around there for sure either in the northern part of Albania or in the Southern part, just in case you can also contact me for any info, on instagram or facebook. Thanks till then wish you a lot of adventures 🏔️
Great stuff, Rob, wonderful sense of the wildness and beauty of Monte. Not surprised you didn't see any bears or wolves as they're very private. I was in the Perućica rain forest on the Bosnia side of Monte last year and saw plenty of bear sign but no actual bears. I'm sure they saw us though!
Yeah it's a shame, but we did see plenty of wild boar sign and scat. I found some scat that was probably too big to be fox. According to one of my Montenegrin friends who works in the woods he reckoned that it could be wolf, but there are also a type of coyote in Prokletije as well.
No Garmin, for nav it's map & compass. For emergency backup we have a PLB. Sometimes carry a radio , but just had a local sim in a backup cell. Multiple flash lights packed, headtorches etc.
