Looks to me like the what I call the ott Defoe version of ‘tightlining’ from a retrieve standpoint but being used under a different set of conditions and offshore. 🤔 gotta say I love that retrieve style with baits like that. Just produces fish everywhere.

Im a Sr. PHOTOGRAPHY AND PEOPLE THINK YOU JUST RECORD AND POST ITS NOT THAT SIMPLE.. HELL COMPUTER ALONE IS 2 TO 3 MONTHS OF SOME PEOPLES SALARY.. JUST TO RENDER DOWN FOR AN HOUR...
they don't understand post production or the components much less what rendering is , downloading off the cards onto the cpu then from cpu into a program then edit then bounce down , its all multiples hours stage to stage , lots of gigs
Great video as always but.....Your editor needs to step it up and get these out quicker. We are days after stage 5 has completed 🤦♂️🤦♂️
Editing is not easy trust me
You know that Wheeler has his cameras on continuously when fishing so editors are sifting through hours and hours of dead footage to get us all the highlights of that tournament day. Props to the editors who put hard work into this video. Congrats Wheelers!

Simple stuff to these guys.....editor has nothing but time. It's his full time job. 🤷♂️ all his boys are a month ahead on videos. Cant be that hard right
Easier said than done. Takes a lot of hours to get tournament videos out- reviewing the footage and editing takes time, plus these guys don’t post as soon as they’re ready, you have to spread your posts out when you’re making money to make sure you always have consistent content

How is the new Bassmasters Lite doing. I hate what MLF has turned into from the great plan before.
5 fish opens up a lot more options for people. Now it’s worth while to do long runs or fish big baits. Every fish counts makes a lot of strategies not viable
@Devin Willis it's boring. No offense, but who cares what the fishermen want? The audience wants more fish. Why not make it ten fish, or eight fish. This antiquated method is why BASS lost viewer share to MLF. MLF was different and unique. I have three teenage boys who would more or less watch all day long. Now, they have lost interest. They merely check in at the end of the day.
@@jrpadgett7441 I mean I only care what the fisherman want because I also do tournaments. If they won’t watch now they probably aren’t that into fishing then. Nothings changed realistically
@Devin Willis yeah I get it. I've fished all my life in tournaments. The reason we always fish for 5 was logistics.
1. We had to bring them back to weigh.
2. We had to keep them healthy so limited capacity.
3. It would have been easier to cheat without officials.
MLF is no longer bound by these restrictions and limitations. Why copy your competition when you were soundly beating them. And as for my kids, each of them has been on the lake this week. They enjoyed every second of MLF when it first started. Of course, JW is their favorite. But frankly, it was fun watching when every fish counted. Now, at about noon on each day, you pretty much have narrowed the field to 2 or 3 guys. Previously, 10 or 15 guys had a shot.

@Wheeler Fishing something that happened a while back at a Bass and Salt Expo that kinda hit me wrong and it he could have handled it better. It was just a kid. That's all I'm going to say. I hope he's changed.
You need to fire your editor for all the annoying music he plays in the background! That’s fine on transitions and off the lake footage but when your fishing nobody wants to hear that! We want to hear you!!
