About the Shadow vs Knuckles thing, Shadow doesn’t use another form, he takes off his inhibitor rings on his wrists to tap into more power in order to beat Knuckles. Also, Shadow and Sonic are currently as fast as each other.
The final trailer felt as if it was my belated birthday present from Sonic! Turned 17, just 11 days ago 🎉🎊🎂 This was an amazing birthday present, since I've been a Sonic fan since I was 6 (read the comics, watched the shows, played the games)--And I loved the trailer!! We got to see the *Eclipse Cannon blowing up the Moon* (like in SA2!), *Shadow and Maria* just being together (tore my heart into pieces, bro 😭), And, finally, *Shadow finally holding a gun after 19 years!!* (Last time he held a gun was in Shadow '05!)

Our first sonic game was sonic heroes, very happy to see that era of games being recognised in the movies. We completely agree it is good to see more gaming references.
