+Joe Allam Overall, I know this is sponsered content but you made it feel like a normal daily vlog (e.g. Ben Brown). Which is nice because when your first annouced this project with Visit Florida and Hertz, I was hoping that the videos wouldnt come off as giant glossy commericals. For example of what I mean is when you mentioned the mustang, you didnt throw some hertz branding in there. The music was totally on point. Espically for the airboat scenes. Loved the go-pro scenes, espically the segway. I usually laugh at those tours but I caught myself thinking that looks like fun. How dare you make me feel different about segways, Joe!! I am trying to think of some helpful critisism, and can only think of one thing. I wouldnt have mind watching you shop like for a timelapse or montage. If there is one thing Americans love, its montages. Will there be any more? Becaue you also make non-Disney Florida look great. Now I kinda want to check out what Ft.Lauderdale has to offer, instead of great flights to the Bahamas which is usually the only reason I would be in Ft. Lauderdale.

I too was worried about how these videos would come out, as it's my first time working on sponsored content, but I feel I have been able to produce work that keeps everyone happy. One of the main intentions for this trip was to showcase Florida as a great destination regardless of whether you do the theme park routes... so I'm glad it seems to have worked! That's a fair point about the shopping. It's with sections like that, that I am most conscious of including because I know a lot of people watching these videos are more heavily interested in the photography/tech side of things, but then I personally want to include them for my own record and satisfaction. So I'm always working on the balance of what's necessary, what's desired from the audience and what makes me happy personally! Fort Lauderdale was easily my favourite (and I think Vicky's) destination of the whole trip, so I would definitely recommend checking it out! Segways included 😉
+Joe Allam I was also just on a FAM trip in Ft Lauderdale. I have only taken photos or short videos with my iphone, so I'm always interested to see how vloggers do it. I'm setting up my new Sony a6000 right now.
+Scotty Grapher Thanks! I grade these videos myself with Lumetri in Premiere Pro. Sometimes I will also add a LUT from DeLuts. In this case, I added the Hounslow LUT on a few of the clips.
It is at the swap shop, a flee market in the eastern portion of Lauderhill, Florida it is a like 10-15 minutes west of downtown. Though it could be more because Sunrise Blvd can have horrendous traffic. It is in one of the more dangerous neighborhoods though.
