- This is the most Toyota tundras I’ve ever seen in my life. They are running out of places to put these trucks inventory is that all time high ! Most people won’t touch a tundra with a 10 foot pole but if you’re feeling a little risky I would suggest you try to get $12-$13,000 off why not even ask for $15,000 off you just might get it but be careful what you ask for ! But all jokes aside, you could be one of the lucky ones and not have any problems and get a great deal but it’s up to you to decide ! #2024toyotatundra #toyotatundrahybrid #2024toyotatacoma #trdskidplate #toyotatrdpro #toyotatrucks #offroad4x4 #solaroctane #lilkennytv #trdprotacoma #foxshocks #toyotatacoma
They could drop these 30% and they'd still be overpriced. Hard pass.
Exactly. Some of these trucks are $76,000 dollars crazy. Thanks for the reply, my friend have a great day.
Same.
Yep! Hard pass on these. I planned to get one but they’re not trash and I won’t touch them
Couldn’t agree more.
Dude got the rollback a little close to the capstone.
I was at the Ford dealer yesterday and saw F-250's for $91k. It's a rip-off everywhere you go. I told the salesman the prices are outrageous and he just smiled and walked away.
I know I was just all right at Ford dealership and seen the same exact thing they had like a $10,000 mark up crazy times we are leaving in was a Ford raptor though. Thanks for the reply and checking out the channel my friend have a good evening.
Naw it’s outta of this world 🌍 😂
@@ylauj3523 lol 😂 right
I would have stayed there the whole day and ordered food in the showroom and just watch and see if they sell a $80-90k truck just so I can rub in there face and ask How many units they sold today??
He smiled at you because he knew you couldn’t afford it . Smart guy, since he knows he ain’t gonna get a sale from you.
I love it! The two things that pissed people off is what is biting Toyota in the ass now. The new engine and price increase.
Exactly thanks for the reply. In the feedback, my friend. Have a great day.
The more people you can fit in the Tundra, the farther you can push it.
Lol 😂 good one but very true. Thanks for the laugh and the reply my friend. Have a great day. Thanks for checking out the channel.
😂😅
With 10k discount you can buy a donkey and put it the bed with some grass. just in case !..lol
🔥
Don't forget the newest Tundra option... a heated tailgate to keep your hands warm while pushing during the winter.
I think our older Tundras with a 5.7 just increased in value.
Exactly! Can’t go wrong with the previous generation. Thanks for the reply and checking out the channel my friend. Have a great evening.
The damage is already done, it’s about the confidence in the product which Toyota didn’t see it coming.
Exactly! It will be interesting to see what they do next thanks for the reply and checking out the channel my friend have a great evening !
Not giving up my 2020 Trd sport tundra for these junks
I don’t blame you you got the last of the V8 thanks for the reply. In the feedback, my friend. Have a great day.
Toyota LOST ME:(
They’ve lost a lot of people lately. Unfortunately thanks for the reply. In the feedback my friend. Have a great day. Thanks for checking out the channel.
Did any ones see on TH-cam lately soooo bad about tundra failed bye bye
drop it down to 19k and add a lifetime warranty for free or forget it. lol
That might not be a bad idea. Thanks for the reply. In the feedback my friend. Have a great day.
How much is a new engine if you have to replace it?. I'm wondering if it makes sense to take a risk. I know resale value will be worst than a Yugo. lol
@@mrbob9556 Just a rough guess… 8 -10 grand plus labor. And I bet they are going to be in short supply.
@@mrbob9556 The replacement engines are also failing, ,lol
They were expensive because they lasted. Now they are are just expensive. They are now worse than mediocre, they are junk. Just so you know, 2017 was the last year of reliability for the Camry.
I hear you I hear you my friend is very unfortunate. Hopefully Toyota can get back on track. Thanks for the reply. In the feedback my friend. Have a great day. Thanks for checking out the channel.
Lol😂10k off 80k is still TOO MUCH! Especially with the V6 Mystery Box engine.
Lol 😂 mystery Box 📦 engine lol 😆 thanks for the reply and laugh my friend have a great evening! Thanks for checking out the channel!
I cannot afford any of these new trucks, but I still enjoy your videos because I like Toyota and vehicles lol. I'll keep rolling my 22 SR5 for now.
Thanks a lot for the support my friend. I really appreciate it. You have a great truck, so do you have a Tacoma? I’m assuming ! SR5 look really good with a little lift and some wheels and tires ! Thanks for the reply and checking out the channel my friend. Have a great weekend.
@@littlekennytv5668 nah. 4Runner. I’ve leveled it with Bilsteins. TRD wheels. Terra Grappler G2’s. Tint. Stealth tail lights and a few other things. It’s all blacked out. It will do for now. I’m either getting a 6th Gen TRD OFP or I’ll find a used 24 TRD OFP next year sometime.
The decimation that buyers will have if they buy these on the trade or resale side will be so massive it will be unreal. People are smart they will not touch these at all.
10K is not enough off these trucks.
Agreed. Thanks for the reply, my friend. Have a great day. Thanks for checking out the channel.
When they drop them $15k someone will start buying them… I don’t think I’d even consider it until a few years from now
Exactly! They will need to take 15 off and they would definitely see some action! Thanks for the reply my friend have a great evening ! Thanks for checking out the channel!
You still don't get it, $15,000 dollars off a vehicle that costs from $70,000 to $90,000 dollars is nothing, the majority of people still can't afford it, people need to get off this mind set of 6 to 9 year loans to buy a vehicle that by the time you pay it off you have to trade it in because it is wore out and you are right back where you started buried in debt over a vehicle. The longest loan anyone should take out on a vehicle is 48 months, that allows you to pay it off and still have some years left to use it without a payment holding you down.
@@mustangecoboosthpp3869 I do get it, but I don’t finance vehicles. I buy them outright and don’t pay interest. The only thing I ever financed is a house and after the first one I never did again. I don’t do the debt thing. Yes, I know, not everyone has that philosophy or wherewithal, but taking a 72 month loan on something is not a purchase, it’s basically a rental. No debt here.
I agree with you, the TRD PRO Tundra is my favorite also.
It is a very nice truck for sure. It’s just really unfortunate. What’s going on with them ! Thanks for the reply and checking out the channel my friend. Have a great day.
I bought my 2016 Tundra TRD PRO new for 46K, and the 2024 TRD pro is now 75k…insane!
yeah my local dealer has like 22 units of tundras sitting.. he offered my 13k off and still didnt buy one! hahaha
Tundras are my favorite designed 1/2 ton pickups, but for the price theyre overvalued compared to other similar trucks. Chevy has the multiflex tailgates for an extra $500. Tundra's tailgates are almost as basic as possible. Also, chevy and ford give you multiple options of engines to pick from. You can still buy their trucks with a v8 if you want. The silverado even has a diesel option, which I've seen some ppl say that they've averaged over 25 mpg. Also, the f150 and silverado haul and tow more than the tundra. Right now, you could even potentially get a brand new fully decked out Nissan titan with a v8 for $10k - $15k less than a tundra because the titans are going to be discontinued. I do like how the entire back window on the tundra is a power sliding window, but that's pretty much the only really unique thing about it. With 100k recalls, no tundra should be selling for over $50k imo, but thats just me.
"81 Kobe!" I love it haha
Rest in peace to the legend. Thanks for the reply and checking out the channel my friend. Have a great week.
Very good deals i think i will try to make a deal on one today and see if they will through the warranty in with it
If you’re going to buy one, I think it would be a great time to buy one especially if you can get a good warranty for free. I try to get like $13-$15,000 off ! Thanks for the reply. In the feedback, my friend. Good luck thanks for checking out the channel.
Discount it another $20k and I'll consider it. Total of $30k off would be a sweet spot. Toyotaoat me three years ago.
Lol
Lifetime warranty as long as the original owner keeps it nontransferable thats to be fair to Toyota
Not a bad idea. Thanks for the reply and the feedback my friend. Have a great weekend.
man, that TRD Pro Tundra wow. That thing I bad.
I’ve always liked the Trd pro tundra ! Thanks for the reply and checking out the channel my friend. Have a great weekend.
@@littlekennytv5668 yall too.
Theyd probably sell if offered 15year/150k warranty
Nobody is at that dealership looking at the Tundras because of the faulty engines. Risking $71-80k for a twin turbo junk that is guaranteed to fail prematurely right after or before warranty expires is crazy. They break down before you even haul/tow anything.
They could drop the price by 50% and still no one will buy a truck with a defective engine. The V6 twin turbo is junk
Lol 😂 your probably right unfortunately lol 😂 thanks for the reply and laugh my friend have a great evening! Thanks for checking out the channel !
10k off what price MSRP or the 20k markup then 10k rebate ???? Tell me when they selling them at or below MSRP
I’d consider one at 25k. That’s a risk I’d be willing to take.
That will be a great deal. That’s exactly what they are going to need to get people to buy this vehicle at this point thanks for the reply. In the feedback my friend. Have a great day. Thanks for checking out the channel.

With the engine issues, they are worth about $15k, for sheet metal, parts, and tires😅 or maybe, $25k if they'd give a legally binding 100k mile bumper-to-bumper warranty.
Karma for them marking these up 15k over MSRP.

Wow 😮 that’s crazy thanks for the reply and feedback my friend have a great evening! Thanks for checking out the channel!
Great pickups still less problems than gm ford or Chrysler. Look at the recall history.
It’s a beautiful truck but it does you no good if you can’t depend on the engine to be reliable for a long period of time. It seems like everything I’m reading is the engine is like a time bomb you never know when it’s gonna go off and stop working. I bought a 2023 Tacoma last year Trd pro and had to have the cut the torque converter replaced at 10,000 miles but since then it seems to be better but I lost confidence in Toyota because of it. I had a 2010 Toyota Tacoma and I absolutely love that truck I had 348,000 miles on it when I parted ways and I’ll always regret that. It was almost original houses the only thing I replaced was the alternator other than that it was just regular maintenance. Sai is excited about getting another Toyota and I think it’s gonna be OK but only time will tell.
Exactly. Well said my friend. Thanks for the feedback and checking out the channel. Have a great day.
I feel sorry for the fanboys who paid a markup when these first came out… crying in their beer now 😢
Lol 😂 right i definitely liked them a lot when they first came out lol !
Kenny, This gen is nothing but full of issues. From the turbo manifold fail, balls falling off, and engine failure I'm glad I didn't buy one. Lost of confidence as a loyal Toyota! Even with 10K off, not going to buy. Someone is going to get fire.
Lol 😂 exactly it definitely been a rough few years for this new generation tundra! Hopefully they get it figured out before it’s to late! Thanks for the reply and checking out the channel have a good evening my friend!
Damn I love Toyotas …. The old ones. Recycle the plastic, melt down the metal and start over … with the original v8.
We really don't know what is going on with the V35A-FTS motor. Toyota says "excess millings on some motors" Ok whatever. I've seen tear downs on this motor compared to Ford's 2.7 Lets just say the 2.7 has a ton more reinforcement around the Engine girdle. I'm not sold that this motor is up to pushing around a heavy body on frame with the increased pressure on a truck application. We also don't know if 2024's are also involved. If its the "millings" excuse or is it a design defect. I've read claims of this also happening on 2024's. So that gives me some pause. We also don't know how Toyota will make good for affected owners. So far you have them offering a short block with dealers tearing out the entire front end with parts all over the shop floor. Trying to hurry/scramble the repair in less then a month to avoid lemon laws. In short, nothing but unknowns on this truck. Even if you get a great deal is it worth the risk?
Exactly. Well said my friend well said you are definitely taking a risk buying a tundra right now hopefully Toyota will release some type of statement to ensure future purchasers that they will take care of them. If something happens to the truck thanks for the reply and the feedback, my friend. Have a great day. Thanks for checking out the channel.
They are still a great bargin compared to gm, Chevy, or Ford. The vast majority of these trucks have been fine. All the makes have issues. gm and Ford have a class action lawsuit on their transmissions, affecting 2022 and 2023 vehicles. They literally placed a stop sale on them. Go look at all the ford trucks parked in fields around the plant.
I hear you trucks have gotten way too expensive over the last few years every brand. Thanks for the reply and checking out the channel my friend. Have a great weekend.
@littlekennytv5668 oh its gotten crazy. A ford f150 crew cab 302a package will cost you 75k canadian

Still to pricey and they don’t build them like they used to hard pass
For decades, Toyota was getting away with higher and higher prices because of the reliability, that's gone now.
Exactly reliability and Toyota just don’t mix these days Thanks for the reply, my friend. Have a great day. Thanks for checking out the channel.
Yes even Taco's are being discounted. That's unheard of.
I'm a big Toyota car fan because of their reliability, but the salesmen at Toyota dealerships are all so smug. The dealership is the worst experience when it comes to owning a Toyota. They're actually anti-sales men because I've walked away from the dealership several times because of their attitude. At this point, I will just look for used 4-7 year old Toyotas for sale by private parties. Or non-Toyota dealerships. I've purchased a RAV4 from a Ford dealership and he was super awesome and respectful. Had the cars that I was already interested pulled up, air conditioned and ready for me to drive before I arrived!
@@HiPlains1… it wasn’t unheard of before 2020
@@KingTheRat I felt the same way when I test drove a few tacos back in 2019. Especially here n Albuquerque they had huge attitudes and you felt you were wasting their time. It didn't help I didn't like the 3rd gen much. Did not like that transmission and seat position. About the only thing that might change that is if they end up getting allot of lot rot on these overpriced trucks. That has a way to re-adjust ones attitude. That is if they care to make a sale. Let their floor plans put pressure on the GM's lol.

You don't get it epa emissions standards forced them out of V8 so blame government not the manufacturer
@kevlew70 yet... Ford is still selling the 5.0 V8 like hotcakes.
People say the same about the Tacoma dropping the V6... yet Nissan is selling plenty of V6 Frontiers.
Everything can't be blamed on the EPA.
@jerryjeromehawkins1712 What you said is true.
#Toyota went out of their way to push that crap V6 on their customers.
Trying to use EPA for an excuse.
@@kevlew70 You certainly can. All the V8 needed was a dual injection (direct and port) and the 8-speed transmission. If Ford, GM, and RAM can do it then Toyota certainly could. They made a myopic decision based on maximizing profits and now they're going to pay for it.
I don't care if they took $20k off the sticker price. Once the engine blows up, the truck will be worth $0.00.
Lol 😂 exactly!! Thanks for the reply my friend have a good evening!
Ya gotta figure someone's head in Toyota engineering is rolling on the floor by now. No way a twin turbo will last 300k miles like a 5.7 V-8 will.

That is still way to much money, it is a vehicle it has a limited life, vehicles should start in the $20,000 dollar range and top out at no more than $40,000 dollars and people need to get off this mind set they have to have every bell and whistle in a vehicle, that just drives up the price and is just more things to break that cost a small fortune to repair.

Exactly and I’ve heard recalls on the 23 and 24 Toyota Camry. It just keeps getting worse. Thanks for the reply. In the feedback my friend. Have a great day.
Tundras have sold about 20-25k per quarter on average since 2005. In 2024 the first quarter they sold 36,000 the 2nd highest sales in a quarter, only sold more in second quarter of 2007.
But discounts are coming because they built so many, they usually correct that fairly quickly to control prices better. The engine issue might help with that also, but they'll have that sorted soon enough since the internet catches on fire when 900 trucks out of 400,000 have such a big issue.
Economic slow downs are also a big factor, probably bigger than any other.

These Mexican manufactured vehicles are worth half of what they want and that, too, only with some confidence about reliability.
Most of Toyota fans, including myself have been criticizing Toyota for the poor quality and engine problems. It’s unfortunate to see so many Tundra’s rioting on the lot. If I was in the market for a new Tundra, I would wait 2-3 years for Toyota to get their act together.

They're trying to get the average car buyer / truck buyer to pay for and subsidize EVs not going to happen
Lol 😂 exactly! Thanks for the reply my friend!
Welcome to America, Toyota. They are gonna have to discount these trucks for years. But the Big 3 have been discounting their trucks far more then this for years and are just a much better buy overall. 25% off sticker is very common if you buy at the right time of year. Toyota would have to discount that truck $20,000 dollars just to match the domestics as far as discounts. And if you want a 3.5L Turbo V6 in your truck, just buy the dang Ford. It's a proven engine, idk why you would go pull the trigger on a Toyota in the first few model years when they are getting all the problems resolved. Remember 07 with all the broken tailgates and the 5.7 V8 wasn't as reliable as it was in later model years. So, I wanted a GMC Sierra based entirely on visuals. I specifically wanted the 2.7 Turbo as the engine had been out since 2019 without any know problems. I picked up a 2023 with a 60K sticker for 18K off because I bought at the end of the year and the Copper Metallic trucks are just not popular in my area (everyone wants black and red) and this is very common. I wouldn't have touched a Toyota even before the 2022 Tundra problems became know because A. Their ugly, and B. Their too expensive because Toyota sheep are just used to paying sticker.
Well said my friend, I truly appreciate the feedback. Thanks for the reply and checking out the channel. Have a good evening.
And now thanks to the CDK hack incident, many dealers can’t sell them even if they have a customer.

Got to wonder how much longer the smug attitudes at Toyota dealerships among sales ppl will persist with all these vehicles stacking up. Dont they need commissions? Or are they so fat and juicy from the last 5 years of milking customers, they just don’t care? One figures they got to eat again sooner or later. Lol.
The sales guys are ready to give you the biggest discount they can possibly give you to get rid of some of these trucks ! Thanks for the reply. In the feedback, my friend. Have a great weekend. Thanks for checking out the channel.
The Tacoma is trash, quality built is like crap. I look at one the others day poor built , fender loses . $10k off and still $71k and who the hell can afford that payment over $1500 a month.
I hear you my friend build quality not what it use to be thanks for the reply and checking out the channel my friend!
Why would you buy one at any price and play Russian Roulette with the reliability and the headaches of having it fixed and not being able to use it for probably a few months maybe longer don't throw your money away😅 for your time because time is money in this day and age but manufacturers don't give a d it's all about their bottom line😊 PS if a person can't live without one of these they're only recourse is to lease one and then if it takes a crap just give it back to them😊
Exactly well said my friend I can’t argue with that! Thanks for the reply and feedback have a great evening thanks for checking out the channel!
When an ugly new model comes out, I usually warm up to it after a few years. But to my eye, the new generation Tundra is still the ugliest thing Toyota has ever made. Hopefully, the next generation will be better. It ought to be seeing how it will be at least $100k!
Lol I hear you I like how they look lifted and some new tires. The Trd pro always looks pretty good to me, but that’s about it other than a lifted tundra. It will definitely be interesting to see what the new generation looks like but I think we still got a few years of this lol thanks for the reply and checking out the channel. Have a great weekend my friend.
Who wants to pay 70k for a truck that's gonna blow up. Then have a mechanic that's flat rate work on it. I'm sure he's gonna go by the book to repair it. Not torque the bolts to spec ect ect ect. Toyota is just trying to bandaid these. Till there out of warranty.
Exactly That’s a huge job. I would hate to be the mechanic doing it. Thanks for the reply. In the feedback my friend. Have a good evening. Thanks for checking out the channel.
