What an amazing tutorial, again! You make this process look very easy, and I know from my experience that this can be very fiddly and annoying, lol, but you make it seem like I could probably do something like this in my city. Another asset to look at is a set of surface networks. They do the same thing as ploppable asphalt, but they're networks. Don't remember the exact name right now unfortunately.
Good question! I'm not sure what the regulation height is, but sometimes I will put a prop of a train down on the track below or a semi-truck if it's a road and adjust by eye to ensure that there's enough room to pass. I definitely don't want vehicles phasing through the bridge.
What is the name of the mod that enables us to "brush" or "paint" gravel or pavement next to the sunken railroad? Can't hear it right, and downloaded the wrong mods multiple times now.
I'm sorry this is sort of off-topic but I have been trying to do detailed cities and I ran into a roadblock, the buildings kept on needing stuff and then threatening to abandon, how do you stop buildings from abandoning?
If you are plopping buildings down you need to make sure you have the appropriate mods to support that, like Rico revisited. That may be the issue? it's hard to say unless I knew more of what you have.
I had the same issue. When I plopped building’s some of them would do the same, go abandon. What I noticed is that the building was at a too high of a level. For example it was at level 3 and the land value was low. Once I changed the level of the building to say level 1 it never abandons and it level back up on it’s own. I have a mod that allows me to change the spec of the building. I think it’s called realistic population.
how do you solve a problem with floating trees please...i has created my own map... added a few roads ... then thought id decorate the area with some trees... i saved the game... when i opened the game the next day... my trees are floating in the air thanks dave
@@Slay3K thank for reply... Figured it out... It is tree anarchy ... I selected z-axis or something like that in the options...as adjusting the terrain caused the issue

For sure! You could definitely do that and create the look downtown Atlanta has, but hopefully it handles traffic better. Haha.

Network Multitool has a feature that flips quays
It sure does, but it doesn’t always work effectively depending on the situation the quay is in.
