Just watched the movie and it was pretty danm good. My expectations for local movies is usually not very high but however this movie simply exceeded it! Kudos to the Director and Cast.
I watched the movie this morning. It was a really heart-warming and perhaps because I am of the same age as the characters, I felt this emotional resonance. I really recommend this movie. This particular song really touched me. The lyrics are really meaningful and this singer, despite her tender age, is really able to convey the powerful emotions in this nostalgic song. Commendable and thank you for bringing back much-treasured memories.
The movie started showing them in secondary school, where everyone is studying for O levels. Thats the time everyone was drinking red bull + chicken essence. All of the cast except daren passed their o lvl and entered the same jc and the movie continues around the jc life till julie left singapore to study abroad

I like this rendition of the song, but its combination with the scenes in the movie seems to be out of place. the song does not seem to match the ambience of many of the scenes depicred and leaves one feeling...odd..
Watching this after watching Xinyao documentary in Netflix. Very proud of Singapore Xinyao group. Their song never fail to bring a breeze of fresh air
Really hope that we can keep Xinyao going in Singapore.
