I'm just working on getting caught up on the last few vids you've loaded that I missed and now there's a new one??? Hell yeah. I can watch Polecat all night lol
2:01:15 “don’t think an arson investigator will have a guunnnnn...” arson investigators can and will almost always carry a gun, as they can arrest people who may be involved in an arson. They are basically the detectives of fire police, who can also carry guns are arrest people who are obstructing or may be involved, but most departments don’t have them because LEO’s are a thing. The arson investigator is also known as a fire marshal, and will be the person conducting random fire code inspections for buildings and may need to use a firearm if threatened by the owners, as violations tend to have expensive fines.
Those big Yellow hoses are used to connect to the fire engines, medic trucks, or any other vehicle exhaust tips so you can start them for long periods of time while the shop doors are not open. There's a switch you press or flip to turn on the system and vacuums the exhaust outside.
@Polecat324 Those big yellow tubes in the Fire Station are exhaust vacuums. What they do is they put the tube over the exhaust pipe of the trucks so the station doesn't fill up with fumes when they start the truck. When they drive off the tubes dis-attach themselves when the truck drives out so the firemen don't have to.
The hoses at 2:09:48 is exhaust hoses they hook it up to the fire trucks when they are stationary so when they turn them on it keeps the diesel fumes out of the station just in case anyone actually doesn’t know what they are
Why did no one post anything negative about this. Polecat was a bad firefighter the whole time and no one said anything about it. He should’ve at least ridden with other people to learn what he was doing instead of just guessing and ridding alone and doing his own thing. I’ve played on PS4 Communities with better roleplayers than him.
im a firefighter and we have no calls we gear up and shut all the lights off in the hall and do interior attack/ search an rescue training in the pitch black, its a lot of fun actually
Warm saline would prevent systolic shock, if a cold saline drip were administered it could induce hypothermia, cold saline begins to warm toward ambient temperature but the rate is not rapid.
100,000% best vid so far. This made me laugh at 1:12 my mum comes in my room and screams "SHUT THE FUCK UP" and throws my intercom controller at my head. As always amazing video as always. ♥️
Unless there the vehicle is on fire, we would not have a SCBA on, as it is just added weight and hinders our performance, maneuverability, and limits the number of people that can be around the vehicle. Especially in a rollover, we need the space for medical personnel to tend to the patient while fire fighters above cut the door hinges and remove the door. Even in a normal extrication, space is extremely limited, since we still have to cut the A, B, and C posts, shatter the tempered glass for the side windows, and cut the laminated glass in the windshield and rear window to remove the roof, and occasionally cut the area between the wheel and door, as well as directly above the wheel well to perform a dash roll to help extricate an entrapped victim. Taking time trying to figure out the best way to cut someone out is not what we care about. If we are needed to get someone out of a car, the vehicle is already a total loss and we will do whatever we can, as fast as we can, doing our best not to cause further injury to the victim. On another note, if someone is pinned underneath a car, and there is no fire or risk of further injury to the victim, NEVER lift the car off of them, it might be the thing keeping them alive. If someone is pinned underneath a 2,000 lbs vehicle, we will assume there is internal bleeding, but the weight of the car is adding pressure to the internal, and external, wounds which is keeping them from bleeding out. If you don’t have the resources to save someone, try to comfort them and keep them awake. If someone is dying, they are going to be scared and in pain, so try to comfort them and talk to them, it truly means a lot. I have seen it personally and I have heard from victims how much it means to them. Polecat324, thanks for repping the FD once again, I had a lot of fun watching this as a fire fighter, and I think you would do a semi-decent job helping on a scene. I don’t know about other departments, but our department has ride alongs and during the Covid outbreak, we have been driving around our jurisdiction passing through different areas each day with lights/sirens and handing out hats to the kids, and also staging on a bridge on the SB direction of the nearby highway to honor a fallen NYPD officer passing for his funeral going down through the county to the city, not going to name the department, but if anyone is interested just look up NYPD funeral 4/25/20 and you can find it. It’s rough out here in NY, but we are holding in.
Arson investigators do have tuna on them, depending on department/state they have the ability to arrest a individual that is subject to be the arsonist.
At 2:10:06 that’s a plug it goes into the fire truck and charges the truck and when the truck starts up it pops out or you have to take it out it depends

I saw the thumbnail and though this was a Actual LSFD Episode

The EMS stream was such a different vibe and was way different to any other video, enjoyed it thoroughly. Great video polecat
"Lets use a guy i dont usually use for murders....which seems to be all these"?! this killed me!😂
Btw those yellow tubes connect to the exhaust port of the truck for the carbon monoxide when they start the truck up in station when doors are closed
When he grabbed the head I laughed so hard at 3 in the morning dude I almost got caught dude 😭
Antonio Sanchez got caught with out? Laughing isn’t a crime dip shit
The yellow hoses are for the fire trucks so they can run inside and the exhaust fumes are pulled out through the hoses
My brother is a firefighter and just watching u play as a firefighter is amazing😎👍
@Polecat324 Live You had mirrors but at 2:03:54 (when you tried roll your windows down) you lost you mirrors

Yeah I agree he wasn’t a good firefighter but I mean hey at least he’s trying. The other firefighters were way to silent and awkward

Snorkel laxatives just fucking killed me
1:13:45 yeah I definitely want him as my chief. Responding to a MVF and causes an MVA w/ fatality
You hook those yellow hoses up to the trucks exhaust so you dont smoke out the bay when the doors are closed..
Wait I’m so confused 😂 one second your just a life guard and the next you tell the cop “you know how long I’ve been doing this job?!”😂😭 I love it
