Back when they were a scripted loveline, he would laugh out loud in embarrassment or not respond at all in a shy manner. I stopped watching about a few years ago and only got back into it recently because of spartace development so I'm not sure when he ever did respond to teases with a statement like that but this time, he took it so coolly, like some kind of half-truth. Jihyo is much harder to read because she is a tease and an actress so it's harder to tell for her. When Jongkook said that, I had to stop myself for a minute, because it seems very unlike him to say something like that, scripted or not. I don't know if I'm reading too much into this, but I love them very much so we spartace fans ARE THRIVING 🤩

Monday Couple was also pushed by producers. It may have started spontaneously at first due to Gary's joking around and flirting, but then it evolves into a gimmick from the producers. That being said, most of it is improvisation, and I really hope that how Jongkook responded was spontaneous too, so we spartace fans can finally celebrate lol
