I always thought that the studio quality of Miki's voice was really different. Can you tell me if there was a problem with her voice at some point? I'm from Brazil and I don't know these stories about Miki's career
@@l0ttusflower387It depends, there are lives where she has a really good voice and others that aren't neccessarily bad but not that good, i think it's because of the audio, in her best lives she is in a famous concert or famous program, i think that's part of the reason.

@@l0ttusflower387 Yeah, I think her old voice is a lot better, but still, I think this voice has some potential. In her last album from the 90's, she really makes good use of this "new voice." An example is Megami no Migite or Be Rock. I still like the old one more, but it's not bad. I have some hypotheses about what happened to her voice. Maybe she got sick, and you know how the voice of sick people is; they tend to sound like they are lacking voice. Maybe she just grew up, and her voice changed; or maybe she just changed her style, and that's it. Because of the loss of popularity of city pop in the 90's, maybe she was trying new things and she wasn't that famous, with all the idols, single artists had a difficult time. I don't know, it's weird. In some live performances (I have them in a playlist if you want to watch them), like Megami no Migite, she has that weird lack of voice, but in others, like In the Room of Howa Howa Shuwa, she still has kind of her old voice. Who knows... There is so little information about her.
