A fine example of impulse marketing. You're mostly paying for the machine and the flashy looks than the product itself. But hey, it works!
Geared towards kids largely.....parents pay more to shut the kids up
It's about having fun tho, so it works out.
This is really expensive. You can get a 15oz bag from the store for like $3
It won't let you choose your own flavors, but at least you have more flavor mixes to choose from.
It is kind of cool that you can choose only certain flavors with the skittles vending machine but if they get old looking and not rotated then that is just not good.
could also be that the slide they go down needs cleaning

I still remember I was going through a breakup and I watched this video and it made me smile , I’m glad I found your video to help me through.
You want to be careful when labelling something as a "scam" because being "expensive" isn't the same as a scam. Whenever you're buying something different factors are taken into account. Sam's club is a bulk buying place where you're gonna get better deals on things because you're buying in bulk. Does that mean that if you compared the price of a.sams club 24 ounce pack to a 1 dollar 1 ounce pack from a gas station, that the gas station is a scam?
The vending machine also has the upside of 24/7 (as long as it's not breaking down) availability without.needing staff to operate it. And if you have a favourite flavour,.you can customise for just that flavour.

Holy Cow @Jaime Ibandez I finally saw this Skittles Vending Machine at my local Outlet Mall in Des Moines I decided to try it. They were fresh but, not lids :( I could buy a bigger bag at like walmart for half the prices but I was so amazed at these machines after seeing your video. I just had to try as I get my business started. I am still looking for a cheap but a decent machine then have a decent location here in Des Moines Metro or even taken over routes.

Is it a rip off and overly expensive? Sure! Is it a scam? I'm yet to see evidence of it being a scam.
It's not different than charging say $15 for ONE box of cereal or $14 for ONE packet of Doritos, is it a scam? No! Is it overly expensive and a rip off? In my opinion yes but a scam it is not.

Rare snack... Kinnie Soda from Malta. A typical bubble top costs about 15 cents per crank for Skittles. A quarter =10 cents profit. No electricity. Buddy had a 7-up bottle machine he kept long necks in it.

Only way I could see value of this is if you have a really picky kid who only likes one flavor. For example my niece only likes red cherry flavor (SOMETIMES strawberry) candy. And only certain types of candies. So if you have a picky eater like that, then this is fun.
