If I could erase my time and memories with any game just to do it all again for the first time it’s be this one. It’s just a magical experience unlike anything I’ve ever played. Even among other mh games this one stands out for that reason. It’s the only one that got me past the 200 hour mark and it kept going and going and going until before I knew it it’d been 4 years and 2000 hours of what I would soon realize was the best game I’ve ever played. Thank you Capcom for doing such a spectacular job making this game

You can set your starting location with triangle after choosing a server and set where you default to after a quest in the settings. I haven't seen astera in months

That’s what I thought originally but then I realized something. In the day Hunters are away hunting down things and at night when they come back there are celebratory parties thrown. The music reflects that.

i love world and especially iceborne, i mean it has it's flaws, like not being able to craft decorations, or (low/high rank) weapon designs being bad but it still looks, feels and plays amazing; in my opinion it's the best monster hunter yet.
I was reluctant to buy Iceborne before I hunt at least one AT Elder without it, but after my friend finally talked me into it and I've spent first minute in Seliana I know, I can't go back to Astera :D It wasn't long until I completed every quest in base game (made easier with some basic MR gear from IB) and I no longer have reason to go back there, and that's good!

This should've been the day time theme in my opinion. I think I would've slept better with seliana's day theme being the night theme, just seems more fitting to me.

I think the reason they did this is because the day theme is already slow and relaxed so instead they decided to make two distinct versions based on the same base theme. They’re clearly both variations on a theme though

Seliana is great but it can't beat the nostalgia of pokke! A return to the snowy lands with a new town though is just what we needed.
